Liked: Far away from the beach, but you have a nice view of the city instead. It is cheap also.

Disliked: Nothing really, found the bathroom a bit dirty and probably not the best hostel to meet other travelers if your on your own as there is no common room.

Disliked: no common area - not much contact with other travellers top sheets not included in the price only one key given for a group of 3 people (30 euros of deposit for the keys given back when checking out) not so clean bathrooms only two WCs for all guests They ran out of hot water once

Liked: location

Disliked: When I arrived, I felt very unsafe. I was even with a friend and with one look at the 4 bed dorm we both agreed that it was only for one night. The beds were awful and to go to the bathroom you needed to walk through reception. On NO circumstances I would ever recommend staying here! Please if you read this put the extra 2 or 3 Euros and stay elsewhere.

Liked: The staff was really helpful, the location was good and there was a bathroom on the room, which we didn't expect. Good place to stay for one or two nights, you just can't expect any wonders for that value.

Disliked: The only problem came when we were returning from the beach late in the evening and tried to make a photo outside of the cathedral (which is just over the street from the hotel). Some (probably) homeless people sitting on the stairs of the cathedral thought we were taking a photo of them, which was not really truth. After a short skirmish, I was attacked by their dogs and some female gipsy wrestler, who punched me into the face several times and forced me to erase the photos. All in all, nothing really happened, but it could have been worse, so my advice is to avoid photographing these people.

Liked: The good atmosphere.

Disliked: I don`t feel safty on the area where the hostel is located. They don`t have breakfast and air conditioner.

Liked: I needed a bed to sleep in, so it had to do

Disliked: Rudeness from staff, with an exception to the main owner. Smell of urine. main gate was always open, which defeated the point of having to pay a 30 euro deposit for an electronic key that we rarely used. the facilities were awful, compared to other hostels we stayed at for the same price per night.

Liked: It was off the main street so good location.

Disliked: The bathroom, cold water, one plug point for a dorm room and the staff didn't seem very friendly. Also you had to pay 30 euros deposit for a set of keys into the hostel, which was not mentioned in it's review.

Liked: location was not bad, and the dormitory was not that expensive..

Disliked: when I checked in, the bed was very dirty, and I had to put the cover on myself. There was no kitchen, not even a microwave.

Liked: Free wifi was handy. Shower in each room. Staff was friendly. Close to main street, grocery stores, bars and restaurants. Beach is walkable. €1 beer at hostel was good!

Disliked: €30 deposit for keys is ridiculous. Don't argue or they get grumpy (other travelers advised me). Renting sheets. Only two toilets for entire hostel. Yet there is a shower in each room. Terrible area, homeless shelter just down the street. Everytime I went out for a cigarrette I would get asked for one at least twice during. Hard to find as there is scaffolding surrounding the building. Rooms were hot, but Nice was quite warm when I was there. It's the cheapest hostel in Nice for a reason. No common room whatsoever. I would rate security lower but there are lots of locks to get into the hostel.

Liked: Our room was small but good (two bunk beds). We had a balcony and our own bathroom. Staff was friendly and location was ideal (close to city center and beach). Sheets included.

Disliked: Room was somewhat small, only two toilets, wifi access at the reception only.

Liked: location was good. no safety lockers in rooms, but you have a key for your room.

Disliked: no internet in rooms. you only have internet in the common area. sheets were pretty nasty.

Liked: It's quite close to the train station.

Disliked: It's in quite a bad neighbourhood, loads of dodgy people hanging around the front door and even in the hall way at times. Rooms are small and stuffy. As a place to rest your head for the night it's fine, but if I'd stayed for a few days I rather would have spent my money elsewhere.

Liked: This property was very central and easy to find. I felt very safe as there was a key to the front main door, a key into the hostel on the second floor and a key to get into the room. There was a reasonably amonte of space in the room and it had a balcony with a perfect veiw of Norte Dame. The ensuite was a good size and clean with hot water.

Disliked: There where a lot of dodgy looking men who hung around outside the hostel a lot of the time. There is no kitchen, or social are so it is hard to really get to knoe anyone, other than those it your room.

Liked: This is the cheapest hostel in Nice and it's not bad, great location- staff can be very helpful Etc

Disliked: The rooms at this hostel are small in size, they also aren't particularly clean although not horribly dirty. During a busy time hot water is scarce also.
