Liked: Location was the only good thing if you're just trying to find a place to stay before getting on the train.

Disliked: Unsafe, dark, and generally creepy. There are men who hang out on the street below. There was blood on the floor of two of the bathrooms. I will never ignore the comments of others on a hostel website. NOT AT ALL WORTH THE FEW EUROS YOU WILL SAVE. I ended up leaving a night early because I did not feel safe staying there. I lost one night of payment, but it didn't even matter.

Liked: Location was fine, that's about it.

Disliked: Everything. The entrance into the building which is used as a toilet by the local lowlifes, it stank of wee and sick all over the floor. The room we had was tiny with three beds. To move around you constantly had to move one bed to navigate round the room. Mouse trap in one corner making room smell. Window opened onto a small courtyard, which you can only describe as a slum in downtown India. Toilet window was next door so you could hear and smell everyone using it!! To get some air into room the door had to be kept open. Towels and bed sheets were stained and smelt.

Liked: The beds were Comfy, the shower was good and location was fab

Disliked: a kitchen would have been useful as food was so expensive in Nice. Also it had no social space so it wasnt as easy to meet people.

Liked: This property was close to the shopping area of Nice - that's about it.

Disliked: There is NO common space at all in this hostel. The staff is only available for a few hours a day and are not helpful for finding what you would like to see. The rooms are extremely small (much smaller than the typical European room/hostel) and they shove too many people in it. There is a shower in the room but no toilet - common toilets not close to the rooms. There is no where to store your luggage in the room while you are staying there unless it fits under the bed. Otherwise it's just in the way in the middle of the one walkway in the room. It's in a sketchy neighborhood with people outside yelling at all hrs of the night.

Liked: It's close to wherever you want to go. The train station is a few minutes away, main avenue is just around the corner.

Disliked: The streets are pretty dark so if you don't mind that then by all means go ahead.

Liked: location

Disliked: Rooms are hotel rooms with beds squashed into them. In a 6 person dorm there was no room to even put our backpacks

Liked: Near the center of the city (anc very close to the train station), and quite clean. No hours to come back at night. Staff speaks a quite good english. We dont' had any problem at all, and I think that if you have to stay one night, and you're not afraid to spend 24/26 euros essentially for a a bed and the use of a bathroom, this hostel could work.

Disliked: It is very small: you have your room, with bathroom inside, and nothing more: no room for Internet, tv, or simply relax yourself on a chair; no kitchen for breakfast (that isn't offered by the hostel). Our impression about safety of or stuff in the room was not quite good -- indeed we didn't have any problem, but I think it would be very easy to enter in our room from the window. I think that the balance value/money isn't right: it would be if the price was around 20 euros for person.

Liked: Good Location, but no communal area- so couldn't meet people. en suite showers and sinks- but not toilets.

Disliked: No kitchen, smelly mould bathroom.. tiny rooms very cramped.

Liked: not very expensive, good location.

Disliked: no toilet in the ensuite bathroom so you must go down the hall, but then no handbasin in toilet so you have to return to room to wash your hands. cleaners come into room before check out time.

Disliked: one has to pay for the luggage storage after checking out.

Liked: Nothing but it's location.

Disliked: Staff was unfriendly. Our room was close to a something like a drainage system so smell was really bad. But the strangest thing is that if you want to left your luggage at the hostel, you have to pay 1 Euro for 1 piece. I wouldn't recommend others to stay here.

Liked: this building is too dangerous. there is one (or two) man in front of entrance door-ground floor- He can take you somewhere else, not Altair hotel, So dont follow him and take care of your self. And this hostel's manager is also not polite to customers. Not Good.
