Liked: I really liked that the hostel was literally a 1 minute walk from the main street in Nice, and 10 minutes from the beach.

Disliked: The hostel was quite hot (no air conditioning), the communal bathrooms were quite dirty and no common area.

Liked: Leaving!!!!!!!!

Disliked: On first arrival everything seemed just average bordering on dirty. The guy that greeted us was rude and obnoxious and thought he was doing us a favour by letting us stay. We asked why a 30 Euro deposit was required and he said it was on their website but no sign of it on Hostelbookers. My friend said that he had never stayed anywhere that they need a deposit for a key before and to our surprise he said we "obvisouly haven't travelled much then!" We have both been all over the world in hostels and hotels and never had that before. Put it this way we almost slept on the street rather than pay this guy any money at all!. A major MAJOR issue tho was that we paid for the whole room (3 beds) between 2 of us (extra) and when we came back from our evening out there was a total stranger asleep on one of the top bunks. We had left our belongings (including our Monaco Grand Prix tickets in the room. Felt very let down and VERY uncomfortable as this guy never said a word although we know he was awake too. We slept in shifts! lol

Liked: the location is very good. the staff is very friendly. and it's clean enough.

Disliked: sometimes there are some strange people in front of the hostel. but they don't offend you, it's not that bad.

Liked: Good location, close to main street and center but not very nice late at night if you are on your own. Free wifi. Supermarket and internet cafes close by. Not far from train station.

Disliked: Internet very slow and only in hallway by entrance. No kitchen. Hot water ran out very quickly so often had cold showers. No common area. Our shower door was broken, drain blocked and no lock on bathroom door.

Liked: The discussion/fight I had with one of the staff members at the end of the stay as I was claiming for a better service for that price and he thought the price was fair so that took us to a discussion.

Disliked: In the worst hostel I've ever been I paid 8 euros and it was better than this one in which I paid 24 euros (without including luggage storage at the end of the stay, bathroom after checkout and sheets). They charge for everything; it is incredible that you have to pay for the luggage storage and even more incredible you have to pay for the sheets. Staff is very rude. There is only one bathroom for the whole hostel. There is no air conditioner nor even a fan so starting the night it is very warm and at the end it is cold (because you have no sheets to cover yourself). Please make a favor yourselves and pay a little more in another hostel.

Liked: The location was excellent, within walking distance of the main attractions of Nice. The free wifi was also a big plus.

Disliked: The rooms were quite small and I would of liked to have a toilet in the room.

Liked: It's a very good location to access the main train station in Nice.

Disliked: The booking process in no way makes it obvious that when you book a bed in a triple room that it will be mixed. I feel this should be stated more explicitly as they do with the larger rooms which are clearly called 'mixed dorms'. The guy at the desk was very cold and stolid. He gave information in small pieces, refusing to offer more until you asked directly about each detail, details that he could very easily have offered as part of the ususal welcome you receive any where.

Liked: Relatively inexpensive, comfortable little hostel, not far from the old town of Nice, and the beach.

Disliked: The wifi internet could only really be used in the reception area (I sat on the floor). There was no kitchen or common area.

Liked: Close to the train station and the main street in Nice. in walking distance to the beach and the old town. nice balcony. free wifi which was slow sometimes because too many were using it. many people you got to now

Disliked: no lockers or anything to put your valuables in. the shower was gross. it was mold almost everywhere in the corners. no common area besides the small room at the reception. no fans or ac in the room so it was really hot during the night. also it was loud because it was close to the main street.

Liked: + we had a private shower (a very tiny one where you could hardly turn around) + the common toilets were clean

Disliked: - extreme small rooms!! - even smaller bathroom, you cant almost uncloth yourself... - you have to pay for a top sheet?!?!?! - not always a hot shower - shower easely flooded the small bathroom - the beds were not comfortable at all - no fridge to use

Liked: Nothing, I really just went back there to sleep, and felt horrible doing that!

Disliked: Everything, the owner does not care about his customers, having no patience at all to talk to all of them

Liked: Location was perfect as it was right between the central train station and the beach. Staff was very friendly and helpful, free wifi was a bonus.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Great location. We didn't spend much time in the room, it was only important to be near train station and near center.

Disliked: Paying for the cover (this is the first time i saw this), staff is not very friendly, you have to make your own bed, no kitchen, no lockers.

Liked: it was close to the train station

Disliked: there was one bathroom to be shared between all guests, there was no common room, no kitchen, no free maps or sight seeing help, it was dirty, i had to pay a 30 euro deposit on a room key. in other words, everything.

Liked: LOVED THIS HOSTEL! The staff was amazing - they were so friendly and helpful to us, making us feel right at home. The location is easy to find and right off a main street. I couldn't have asked for a better hostel experience.

Disliked: nothing!

Liked: Good location.

Disliked: Noisy, unclean. The main door didn't have a lock on it and the door to the building wasn't always closed, so not very safe. The staff didn't really help us with sights etc. You had to pay a 30 euro deposit for the keys. The rooms were small and the showers were temptemental.

Liked: TOilet was in the room so onloy shared with people in the room. GOod location, very easyto find and close to the main avenue.

Disliked: No air conditioner and towel and blanket is not provided, i think you have to pay extra for them. WIfi only available in reception where there is no place to seat or even stand. POor wifi too.
