Liked: Very close to the train station and beds very comfortable. There were no lockers, but this wasn't much of a concern. The room and bathroom were clean and there were computers for us to use for free.

Liked: convenience, free wifi, extremely helpful staff - we reached at 5 am and the person in charge was willing to give us a room to stay in free-of-charge before we could check in at 10am.

Liked: WE LOVED THIS HOSTELl! It was definitely one of the best hostels that we have stayed in! The hostel is in a great location and the owner was extremely friendly, fun, and helpful! He served champagne every night, and the chill out room is a great place to party and meet other travellers! There was a train strike while we were there, and even though the hostel was full, the owner upgraded our room at no extra charge to accomodate us for 2 more nights. The hostel has a fun, upbeat atmosphere, and there is free Internet!!! good location close to monacco and villefranche ( a good beach to go to).

Liked: It was a blast. The hostel was like one big family. I wish there was breakfast. The staff would randomly hand out wine to everyone. Favorite hostel so far!

Liked: Very nice and helpful staff. Had booked a dorm of 8 people, but I was upgraded to a dorm of 4 people with a private bathroom for the same price. Very close to train station, 15 minute walk to the beach, free Internet. Bad: No lockers.

Liked: Baccarat hostel is a very good place to stay in Nice, close to the train station and the location of the Open de Nice Cote D'Azur. The staff is very friendly, they will guide you through the city. 100% recommended

Liked: This is the best hostel I've ever stayed at!! I travelled alone and the receptionlady offered me a private room instead of the 10beds dorm I'd payed for - without charging extra! The staff is amazing, helpful and fun. The owner likes to create a good atmostpheare and one night he opened some bottles of Chanpagne and there was a party! It's a good place to meet other travelers, with a big common room. It's clean and secure, and the location is good; close to the train station, tourist information, Nice centre etc... And the free internet is a plus! I would recomend this hostel to everyone who's going to Nice! It's extremly good value for the money.

Liked: most amazing staff i've ever encountered at a hostel... made sure i arrived safely back each night (even when the night didn't end until 7 am), were very helpful with directions an things to do in nice. also it's san extremely friendly place, constantly people cooking dinner together and socializing in the common room... we even got to enjoy a night of free champagne straight from the owner. the rooms are clean, free internet and computer use, and location is perfect... steps from the train station and only a 6-7 minute walk to the beach. best experience i've had staying in a hostel anywhere... highly recommended!

Liked: Dorm is very cheap. Convenientl location and safe. But no lounge / common area. Elevator is extremely small (allows 2 persons with no luggage). No staircase either. After 8pm, main entrance is closed and need to enter through another hotel.

Liked: When i got to hostel baccarat there was a sign saying to go to Hotel Antares which was where i stayed. not sure whether its like a subsidiary or what. Was really nice, bathrooms in the rooms, clean, good showers, comfy beds. Close to the train station. A bit of a walk to old town but not too far. Supermarket just next door, plenty of places to eat around.
