Liked: This was my first Hostel experience, and I loved it! Great kitchen and patio in the back, "chill out" room with free Champagne at 9pm, and a really wonderful staff. Free wifi too :) Also, the people I met were absolutely wonderful, I'd definitely stay here again!

Disliked: The bathroom ameneties were not super awesome, my towel had a little hole in it and you have to hold the shower head the whole time... but se la vi :)

Liked: This hostel was very close to the train station amd the online directions were spot-on.

Disliked: The dorm rooms were a little crowded, but comfortable. The rooms & bathrooms were not cleaned regularly but they were fine. Wifi was really accessible.

Liked: We had free champagne nights all three nights we were there at 9pm which was great to meet other travellers. The place was small but the bar they had was cool and the outdoor area behind the hotel was good too, shared by another hostel so heaps of great people around. Room was fine, small but not unusual for europe, aircon worked great and the doors had electronic locks so your stuff felt safe enough. Another good thing was the free internet downstairs. Five computers with free 'net but french keyboards so be prepared! Overall great place to stay

Disliked: Lift was one of the smallest we encountered so dont rely on it if you need it, some might be put off by the porn shop across the road but we didnt care. Major drama was relying on paying by card and found out the hard way they take cash only. Pay in full before you go if possible! Other than that, no drama's

Liked: The central location was awesome, also the night staff were super helpful- the fact that it had a kitchen was great!

Disliked: The storage cages were small & the potential lockout between 3-6am.

Liked: The staff was incredible, sincerely welcoming and willing to show you the best time Nice and te surrounding cities can offer. The rooms were clean and a good place to meet other travelers. Also a nice short walk (or tram) from the beach and old town. Ace!

Liked: Super close to the train station (always good), just a 15/20 min walk down the main street to the beach, extremely helpful staff, free champagne night, good a/c systems, free wifi which i could get in my dorm. awesome !

Liked: The atmosphere was great! Cool terrace between the 2 hostels. Great place to meet people. Champaigne and spaghetti parties!! kitchen!

Disliked: lol the staff can be a tiny bit creepy

Liked: The location is really good. Clean.

Disliked: There are no common bathrooms, all the bathrooms are in the separete dorm rooms, something that can be a bit annoying and can result in quite a bit of waiting in the mornings. Also, there are no lockers in the rooms.

Liked: This hostel is located only 2 min from the train station. They have a lovely staff and a great outdoor sitting area, were everybody meets in the evening. Hostel Baccarat has also a kitchen where you can make dinner. This is the best hostel I´ve been to, recommend it to all backpackers. :D

Liked: Dan at the front desk was so helpful and kind, he even offered me my own room but as I was travelling alone I chose to stay in a dorm. Great place to meet people, they held champagne parties and a spaghetti night. There was a guest kitchen and free internet and you could use the facilities of the sister hostel as well.

Disliked: The guest kitchen got a bit crowded sometimes because it was shared with another hostel. The courtyard was quite hot and stuffy because all the aircons back onto it but still a nice place to hang out.

Disliked: Internet rarely worker, booked for a 6 person room, ended up in a 12 person.

Liked: The staff at hostel were really helpful, friendly and also spoke pretty good english which always helps. the hostel had a pasta party for only 1euro and free wine. The rooms were very clean and had the option of clean towles everyday. I will definatly recommend this hostel.

Liked: Decent location about a 10 minute walk from the beach and old town. The chill out room is a good place to meet people. Bathrooms were clean and hot, but tiny. Decent enough place.

Liked: This was an excellent hostel to stay in! It was very easy to get to from the train station, right around the corner. The staff was very helpful, but they didnt have our reservation saved so make sure to bring a print out of your confirmation pages. They were very nice and helpful in fixing everything though. The location is good, easy walking distance to stores and the beaches. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable. They offered a really great free internet cafe. I thought the price and the value for this hostel were really great. I would recommend staying at this hostel for sure.
