It had a great view overlooking Nice, but there were trees blocking most of the view.

On the whole, very friendly staff. Breakfast is a bit disapponting, although there are 12 different sorts, as stated on the website! Lack of powerpoints for all those gadgets that need charging :(

I would like to work for this hostel I had such a good time. The hostel is great for solo backpackers who want to meet other english speakers. They also have a great dinner every night that their in house chef prepares and it changes every night. The kitchen is huge and open to guests. It has plenty of pots, pans, and dishes too. The location is not near anything per say but you will find the cheapest place to drink at night is the hostel itself so going out is not necessary. You can also walk up the hill from the tram in about 15 minutes. I loved this place and met some really great people during my stay which started as two nights but ended up being four and still didn't want to leave. The only negative thing that happened was many people had things stolen from their room that were left out on the bed. There are lockers so use them for anything valuable (iPods, chargers, money, etc.).

Amazing place to stay in Nice. Not that close to the center but they have a private shuttle service that's always available and it's complimentary to your stay (aka as free!). Totally recommended.

Great place to stay, location doesn't matter as transportation from the tram to the hostel comes often. BEERS 1 EURO BT WINE 4 EURO, The hostel cooks great meals for less than 7euro. Pizza 5.50 not microwaved done properly. Great place....

Overall this was a good hostel. It is out of the way and at the top of a hill but the free shuttle is good. The trams are cheap so it is not to bad. The staff were extremely helpful. The rooms are extremely hot, we were there at the beginning of Oct, there was no way for ventilation. Just be prepared if you get a room near reception (ours was right next to it) you will hear people checking out and all the chaos of the morning, and people will stand outside the door chatting. Just be extremely careful and cautious. I was in the bathroom to stay out of the way of the staff member making the beds, I was the only one in the room, so when he left I came out to notice that 15 euro had been taken off my bed by the staff member making the beds.

Breakfast - Toast and Cereal Dinner - Own made Pizza or Chef's Choice... we stayed only one night and the dinner queue was really long and had to wait quite a while but it was all good. no more than 7Euros... which is fine. We had a Twin Ensuite... it's the best room Iv ever stayed him. Big Room, own shower with hot water! and even a mini fridge inside the room. We met the owner a few times and he explained in detail to us what we should do according to the amount of days we were there (2 days, 1 night) and we pretty much got the most out of Nice because of his advice! Heaps of information and friendly staff. Really really good hostel! The location is a bit far but the free shuttle and the service provided at the hostel tops that. They also have arranged day trips to go scuba diving/skiing/sailing etc... seasonal though

The hostel is located about 20 minutes walk from the tram stop, although you can wait for the hostel shuttle bus outside the supermarket opposite the tram stop. I have to say this one of the nicest hostels I’ve stayed in, and that was the general consensus of fellow travellers at the hostel. The social side is one of its best features. It has massive common room where you meet loads of interesting and cool people at night. There no reason to go out into town when a can of beer is one euro – trust me, this is a very good deal, in France it costs €6 for a pint of lager – at the bar in the hostel. Plus you can purchase meals at the bar around 8pm; meals include pizzas and the meal of the day. For €6 you won’t found a cheaper meal in Nice, plus the meals are tasty! The rooms are what you normally get at any hostel, although everything was clean and well maintained. I was in a 13 bed dorm and we had an on-suite bathroom and outside the dorm room there were shower facilities. The staff were really friendly and would suggest places to see in an around Nice at breakfast time; the breakfast itself is really a big plus point when staying there – it’s all you can eat! Admittedly it’s just cereal, bread with a selections of jams and fruit juices & coffee, but it’s FREE and ALL YOU CAN EAT. You can’t really complain. My favourite part of the hostel would definitely be the FREE WIFI; they have around twelve computers which are accessible twenty fours a day plus WIFI all over the hostel. I can’t overestimate how convenient this is. I would definitely recommend staying here. I scratching my head trying to think of negative aspects to the hostel, because, well there isn’t any!
