Liked: The shuttle bus is helpful. The staffs are nice, and nice breakfast.

Disliked: Location is pretty far from city centre, though the shuttle bus make it easier.

Liked: Where to begin? I was originally planning on staying here for a night and ended up staying for 10 days! The stay here was amazing. The staff are incredibly cool and friendly. The food was fantastic and priced really reasonably. The room was spotless and all at a very good price. The lounge area is great because everyone hangs out so you can get some great ideas for day trips as well as where to head next after Nice, with staff input you won't be disappointed. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Disliked: rooms for four were tiny, no mention of bunk-beds in the explanation for booking, a little deceptive

Liked: It was just brilliant. The staff, the facilities, the breakfast is legendary. It's a beautiful place to stay and, as it was for me by two others, I will be recommending it to everyone I know!

Disliked: Don't think you can just casually walk to the Villa with all your bags - they offer a shuttle service for a reason! (The hill is extreme). Call them! That was my ultimate error haha.

Liked: Free computers with internet was amazing. Staff were really helpful at recommending things to see in the area. Great place to meet people.

Disliked: It is a bit of party hostel so it is rather noisy at night. The location is out of the way but it is made bearable by the free shuttle. Just makes getting to and from beach/town time consuming.

Liked: good atmosphere, helpful staff, easy to get to the centre, free shuttle to the tram is good, breakfast nice.

Disliked: no seperate reading lights in dorms, laundry quit expensive, could do with washing machines instead.

Liked: The property is a fantastic old monastary nestled on the peak of a hill over looking Nice. From the upper rooms it has views right down to the sea which are extremely dramatic at sunset and sunrise.

Disliked: The only downside of the property is that it is a little far from town, however this is more than made up for as the Villa provide an excellent shuttle service to and from the nearest tram stop.

Liked: Good: Helpful Staff, perfect organisation. Shuttle service to the tram.

Disliked: Lack of atmosphere, not cosy. A large place that feels somewhat like a Hotel. Small car park and very difficult parking situation outside the Hostel.

Liked: This place was awsome. i stayed for 10 days and found the staff extremly friendly and helpful. i felt well looked after there. The place it self was very clean and tidey and the facilities where amazing. i would recommend this hostal to everyone.

Disliked: The only thing i would say wasn't great was the location. it was a long clime to the hostal, but the shuttle service takes care of this.

Liked: It was a fun place without any obnoxiousness. Families were having fun, too. A hostel with a gourmet cook! Excellent, cheap dinners and drinks.

Disliked: The staff was a little too loud in the middle of the night , while they constantly cleaned the bathrooms, day and night. But, clean is good.

Disliked: The only problem it was a guy, who was realy rude. i dont know his name, but he's australian and he works there, at the hostel. when we got the hostel he said something about us and i didnt like that. the other staff was realy nice.

Liked: Good atmosphere with lots of people from all walks of life.

Disliked: To get there you have to go up a gigantic hill which was a bit of an annoyance but that was the only issue.

Liked: I only stayed one night on a whim and met some awesome people. The shuttle bus was extremely convienent and the staff is great. Clean rooms, the bathroom was clean also.

Disliked: That they close the gardens at 10. I met some cool people and we were chillen out having some beers. Sorta shitty when you're in the middle of a great experience and they end it early...but I suppose you could just go inside.

Liked: Probably the best hostel I've ever stayed at and for a great price. It had a free and efficient shuttle service to the tram in the city, not that it was a far walk in the first place. It had great cooking facilities and food storage areas. If you didn't fancy cooking the meals on offer were satisfying and a good price - and their brownies are amazing! Free wifi and and internet was great. Great social atmosphere and friendly and helpful staff.

Disliked: nothing.

Liked: The staff are really helpful and it's a great place to meet other travellers if you're on your own. We had four showers in a 12 bed dorm so no waiting for the bathroom in the morning.

Disliked: Only five lockers in a dorm of 12 beds. The shuttles don't run between 11am-6pm and it's a long walk up a steep hill if you need to get to the hostel then.

Liked: I couldn't have afforded Nice at all if not for their room price and great restaurant and cheap bar. Its a nice communal atmosphere, a good kitchen to cook in, there was often free booze and food in the communal fridge, the meals were wonderful, the beer selection was great and the house wine good. They offer really cool excursions like water sports and canyoning and stuff at good prices.

Disliked: It is far away from city center. This is fine because the tram is efficient and cheap. But from the tram stop its a long steep uphill. The hostel runs a shuttle, but only from 8-11am and then 6pm-2am. It was usually pretty good but sometimes we waited over 45 minutes for it. Most of the staff were great but they are just other travelers so some were not so keen on helping you or just weren't knowledgeable in their jobs.
