Janine Cooperreally cool place with a good atmosphere and great breakfast. But it was easy to get lost with all the stairs and doors and only one toilet was not convenient. I managed to get a shower but that was only because they kindly let us check out later. The hostel staff are very helpful and will pick you up in the van from the tram stop. can buy your tickets from the hostel too. |

Customer reviewEven though this hostel is not centrally located, the regular free shuttle bus trips to the (great value) tram more than make up for the location. The staff are so helpful and friendly, and the hostel has great facilities. It's a great place to meet people. If I return to Nice (and I hope to) I would stay at Villa Saint Exupery again. I have already recommended this to friends. |

Customer reviewI stayed at Villa Saint Exupery during the Cannes Film Festival and Monaco Grand Prix period so it was quite expensive compared to the normal rates but I wasn't disppointed at all. Even though it's far from downtown Nice, the tram to downtown is convenient and very frequent, although the walk to the hostel from the tram is VERY steep and you're best waiting for the bus that picks up from the tram stop every 15 minutes or so. It's well laid out, clean and FUN! The drinks are cheap and the meals from the kitchen are good value. Definitely would recommend as a fun base to visit the Cote d'Azur, everyone's very friendly and have heaps of great memories from my stay there. |

Customer reviewThe staff were really friendly and I loved my room! The location is a bit out of the way but the hostel does provide a shuttle to the tram stop. Check out the daily homemade dinners and the brownies are to die for. |

Michael FustA wonderful place to stay in Nice. I was just there, May 17-20, 2009. I got a private room for myself and 2 friends. The room was very clean when we arrived and was also nice and spacious. We were on the 3rd floor so we had a wonderful view overlooking the city. The hostel was great, the staff was very friendly and nice, there was free internet, free towels, free breakfast, free shuttle service to the closest tram station, and you can even borrow cell phones for 15 cents a min. at the front desk. There is a bar that most everyone hung out at night where you could get 1 euro "tall boy"beers or 4 euro bottles of wine - great place to meet people from all over the world. I realized why everyone hung out there after going out in the city one night and paying 7 euros for a beer. There was also very good, cheap food you could order for dinner every night or even cook your own. It was a little far from the "city center" but the tram only costs 1 euro to go anywhere and the shuttle service to/from the hostel runs every 10-15 mins, so we never had any problems. When I go back to Nice, I will def stay here again. |

Kaitlin SpringI loved the atmosphere and the people who worked there. Everyone at the villa saint exupery was always available to answer questions about Nice and the surrounding areas and they provided countless activities to make our stay in Nice amazing. This was the BEST hostel I stayed at on my trip. |

Customer reviewBreakfast (it's much better than other hostels I've ever stayed.) is included, free internet (if you do not bring your lap top, there are lots of computers available), and even they provide free airport pick-up service!!! Location is not so good, but there is free shuttle service which bring you to the nearest tram station. |
