This place was definitely a highlight and the owners/staff really understand what the backpacking crowd craves in a good hostel. Cheap Beer, Hot Meals every night, substantial breakfast, clean kitchen, clean rooms and helpful staff who will help you plan your day. The regular shuttle service up and down the hill was an abosulte god-send and a fantastic way to meet people and share your experiences. I will definitely come back to the Villa, its a great place!

I enjoyed my stay here, everything was absolutely perfect. My only complaints, although they are minor are that the location is quite a walk up the hill, but if you call them they come and pick you up. The bar is great, the only thing is the music was low because the neighborhood that we were in had that law. But in all fairness the hostel was amazing and I would definitely recommend it.

fantastic atmosphere, great place to have lots of drinks and relax. a little bit too easy to get sucked into the cheap drinks and forget about where you are and all of the sites to see!

This hostel is simply amazing. Rooms are awesome, food is great, everything is clean, and there are no worries. The incredible staff make this a really friendly atmosphere, and you can really tell they put their all into it. My two friends and I went canyoning and thought we could pay with credit card, but couldn't. We had no cash on us. One of the employees actually laid out the money and paid the canyoning guide out of HIS OWN pocket, told us to relax, and brought us to an ATM later to pay him back. If that's not a friendly atmosphere, I don't know what is. By the way...if people push you to do canyoning, it's for a reason. One of the best experiences I've ever had, period. This is THE hostel in Nice, France.

Very fun, masses of activities offered, a really great breakfast.... And in fact it's not that far from the centre at all. I thought this hostel was absolutely great!

Really nice location - away from the hustle and bustle, but only a short walk from the tram stop which can take you to central Nice. The breakfast is fab, and the evening food available was incredibly good (and value for money). My room was clean and well set out. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable. If I'm honest the biggest downside was the queue to talk to someone at reception as it's so busy!

First the efficiency and friendliness of the staff, the intim and beautueful atmosphere and kleenines both indors and outdor spaces. And not at last the magnificienty of its architecture. food+++++
At two occation during my two weeks stay, was americans who dont how to behave.There was consierable prolems with shouting,screaming and loudly talk both in rooms and coriodors at night. Four amercans were asked to leave the Hostel. Do theiyreally think that they own the world? They are beginning to be extremely unpoular. But the hostel is not to blame, there was a gard patrolling till o300 at night. But he is not able to be anwhere all the time

Amazing hostel - best place I've stayed. Excellent dinners, (also happen to be the cheapest stuff in town) big breakfast included (more than just bread and juice). The staff is very involved, and the director personally helps people find activities to do around town. Highly, highly recommended.
