Liked: The common area where food is srved

Disliked: The breakfast is good but as great as described on the site. I have stayed in hostels in berlin & munich and found the food there to be better. Location is a little inconvenient even though they pick us up from the tram stop all the time.

Liked: The breakfast was fantastic - best cereal range I've ever seen in a hostel. The communal kitchen facilities were really great also! Very clean and spacious. We got a free upgrade to a private room the first night which was great (but we had to move rooms the next day). Staff were friendly and halpful and the shuttle bus to/from the tram was usefull.

Disliked: The location isn't great - quite a long way out of town. Probably could do with a bigger reception area/more staff - we had to wait a while to be looked after (but they were helpful). There was always a lot of water on the floor in the toilet which wasn't great, but otherwise everything was very clean and comfortable.

Disliked: Small rooms and small parking compared to number of rooms.

Liked: Very Convenient location. Food and drinks very economical

Disliked: Petty issues thar were described in the website and not availalble on arrival. Ventilation system was not functional in the room for the first 2 nights (it was being 'worked on' Postal service from the front desk non-existent.

Liked: The place has such a good atmosphere. The drinks and food are so cheap for what you buy and its a really nice place to stay. We were only there for one night, but they let us shower after we had checked out, and still use the facilities. There is free tea and coffee and computers with internet. There is also a kitchen to cook for yourself. Shuttle service to the supermarket is so useful.

Disliked: Its pretty far from the beach, but they have a sister hostel which is really close, and does a walking tour. The beach is definately worth it. the shower doors are see through, and in each dorm, there are 4 showers in the 'sink' room. and one toilet for 14 people.

Liked: Great atmosphere, the shuttle buses to and from the hostel were so helpful. Heaps of activities on offer, friendly staff, great cheap meals. Good wifi connection.

Disliked: Can be a bit loud at night, even past midnight, so if you're looking for an early night, it's generally too loud.

Liked: The rooms are nice, friendly staff, chef cooks great meals for only 7€, good bar and lounge area.

Disliked: It is a bit far from the tram and shops but the free shuttle makes it easier to get to and from

Liked: There was a good vibe in the hostel and there was free wifi in the rooms. Breakfast was good and there's a pretty regular shuttle to and from the tram station.

Disliked: Our private room wasn't cleaned in 4 days, both our beds were broken and there's no drain in the bathroom so the water went everywhere. One staff member just let herself into our room, while we were in it, without even knocking - we had paid to have the privacy of a private room. There's more focus on fun than cleanliness and we found the staff to be more interested in having a good time than actually doing their jobs properly.

Liked: Great shuttle service, very friendly and helpful staff

Disliked: Could use a few more staff members around, especially at check-in/check-out. We paid to have a load of laundry done, but despite having over 24 hours, the laundry didn't get done. We did get a refund, but we really needed to get the laundry done so it was a bummer.

Liked: Pretty Much everything! A great place to hang out. Very lively in the common areas at night. Breakfast was great. The location may seem a bit far from the centre, but they offer a shuttle from the tram station to the hostel.

Liked: Clean, friendly staff and great facilities - it really is a lovely place and I can see why it gets so many awards.

Disliked: The location - they have a good system happening with the shuttle bus but it's frustrating and time consuming.

Liked: Comfy beds. Cheap drinks, food. Good range of activities on offer.

Disliked: I know that the shuttle service is offered, but most times we had to wait over half an hour for this service. And the hill is really steep so walking up with bags is difficult. Very noisy at night also.

Liked: Best hostel in Europe. Really great, helpful staff (Aussies!), great facilities - amazing bar and food available. Really big, great atmosphere and very clean. They provide amazing info and help for everything about Nice. Its a bit out of town, but they provide a shuttle to the tram - and because its not really close it gets you out and about making your stay even better and more worthwhile.

Disliked: Absolutely nothing.

Disliked: Not a big fan of cereal or toast for breaky. Fruit wouldve been nice, maybe askng too much! Shuttle stops between 1300-1700 and the hill is huge (lazy?) No lockers for our bags in our 4 bd dorm, and no window for any ventilation. Hot and stuffy room

Liked: The bar area was really nice! The food was very good and the alcohol at the bar was cheap. The rooms were very clean and the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful!

Disliked: The location isn't the best but the shuttle service is really good. The only problem would be getting home if you went out and the shuttle and/or tram were no longer running.

Liked: An amazing and beautiful location, set amid pine trees, our room had a sea view. The free breakfast was perfect and there was a choice of value evening meals at 6 euros each. The hostel itself was an incredible and inspiring building with stained glass windows and works of art and a grand piano. Internet access was free and always available. We met the owner and he was very friendly and more than helpful.
