Jessica LaudiThis is a great hostel in which to stay. The staff were friendly and explained things to us. They also even offered to hold our bags in a locked room after we checked out. The first floor has a cool vibe and is decorated nicely. There's a little bar, a kitchen, a lounge area, and computers with internet that you can use for a small fee. The hostel was fully booked when I was here, and because of the lounge area, it was easy to meet/talk to people. The rooms were very clean as well. I was in a 4 bed room and they were spacious. It didn't feel like they tried to jam a many beds in the room as possible. The location is also pretty good. It's extremely close to the Gare Marseille St. Charles which was handy and it's walking distance to everything else worth seeing in Marseille. I definitely recommend this hostel to other travellers. It wasn't too pricey, and I had a good stay here. |

Customer reviewThe hostel was definitly a home from home, with a friendly welcoming atmosphere. The location was perfect being so close to the bus, train and metro station. Beds were comfy, and the ensuite bathroom and shower were always very clean. Has a charming courtyard to chill in. |

Customer reviewThere is a window in the bathroom, which was clean and nice. I think it is the best shower room of which I experienced. Friendly staff, nice interior and furnitures, and luckily, lovely room mates. |

Customer reviewIt was a fun, clean hostel. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. They have laundry and a full kitchen. They also have a cafe with good deals on drinks. The staff is friendly. It is located right by the train station and about a 15min walk to the port. |

Customer reviewAtmosphere - there was a France-Argentina football game on when I stayed at Vertigo, and aside from the actual night of the game (when the venue was empty; I'm not a soccer fan), it was a wonderful place to stay. Met some great people and enjoyed a few nights out with them. |
