Liked: Atmosphere - there was a France-Argentina football game on when I stayed at Vertigo, and aside from the actual night of the game (when the venue was empty; I'm not a soccer fan), it was a wonderful place to stay. Met some great people and enjoyed a few nights out with them.

Liked: Amazingly friendly front desk staff, Incredibly easy to meet people in their lounge spaces. Great bar with coffee, tea, wine, beer, and a really nice outdoor patio. Very relaxing. Unbelievably clean bathrooms that are BIG, and excellent value for the money. I would go back in a hearbeat.

Liked: Room was perfect and the staff was friendly. The place where it is located is not the nicest but it is close to the train station, so that kinda makes it up.

Liked: the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, which is nice especially when travelling on your own, it was also a great place to meet people from all over the world, definitely recommend it,close to the train station

Liked: The sociability between ppl that work there and, which at time stayed there. It was really clean and helpfull staff and most importantly its key location for arriving and leaving the city if traveling by train.

Liked: Close to the train station. Dodgy area... but that´s Marseille. Didn´t really like Marseille... but really enjoyed this hostel!

Liked: The location of the hostel is great, just 5 mins walk away from the train station and the bus-stop to Aix. The rooms and shower were very clean.

Liked: The place was really clean. The night desk clerk was really helpful, though the girl during the day didn't really seem to care to help anyone. But, the location was great, and overall it was worth it. I would stay there again.
