Liked: Very friendly guy at the reception Extra blankets available

Disliked: It was cold in the room (thou the heating was on but the radiator is small) It is not exactly "in the heart of the city" as they say.

Liked: Single room was spacious and well appointed. The hotel was quite new and well presented.As a hotel, its costs related to this and therefore not for the budget traveler Once located it was quite close to the railways stations in Lille

Disliked: Directions provided were totally inadequate especially with the confusing construction work in the vicinity at present. I ended up getting a taxi to find the hotel

Liked: very clean, well priced, bathrooms looked newly renovated

Disliked: our car which was parked directly outside the hotel was badly vandalised this may have been bad luck or a reflection of the bad neighbourhood. I wish the hotel staff had informed us that parking on the street was not advisable as the vandals seemed to be targeting foreign vehicles as they made paid particular attention to our number plates, almost breaking them in half!!

Liked: Good value at short notice. clean room with wireless access. Would be a great place to stay if you have a car, as they have a carpark.

Disliked: it was about 10-15minute walk from anything. all around is just residential except for a nightstore a few blocks over and the motorway.

Liked: It's close to the train station, not hard to find. The staff is friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds.

Disliked: Hot at night, and you couldn't really open the windows as it was too loud outside to sleep with them open (lots of motorcycles speeding by and other traffic, mostly).

Liked: The room was clean but the bathroom was small and when u took a shower the water flooded the toiletfloor immediately and the water leaked out on the carpeting outside the bathroom door. The carpeting stayed wet during the whole stay and kept the air in the room moist and uncomfortably humid. The bathroomfloor was cold.You cant really get to the hostel any other way than walking and its a bit trick to get there because you have to cross big roads so though it seems to be near the centre you have to walk a bit further in order to reach it...

Liked: Surprisingly high value for money, because in France, it´s realy hard to find something around 20 euros, if it´s not a room for at least 8 personnes. On the other hand, the hotel make a reservation on your money on your account, which are due to pay after arrival. They not debit it, but you can be surprised even with this.
