Liked: The rooms were absolutely fantastic! Only four beds to a room and toilet, huge bathroom with shower and two sinks and shelving! Plus massive closet, two-person sized desk, and bedside tables!! The best hostel bedroom I've stayed at and breakfast that was included was also the best hostel breakfast i've had.

Disliked: The location is easy to get to by bus no.3 however, my instructions from website informed me to take bus no.4 which i never even saw the 3 days i was there, and there was construction all over the city (it took 3 hours to find my way there). Dijon wasn't as big as I thought so I became easily bored and would recommend a vineyard excursion or something to stay occupied but as far as the actual hostel went, it was the best part of my Dijon visit.

Liked: Excellent room, nice bathroom and very spacious. Great free breakfast too.

Disliked: Staff spoke no English and gave faulty directions to and from town and station. No self-catering. General atmosphere was lacking.

Liked: This is very good hostel near the center to dijon, i like the service to the staff the breakfast service

Disliked: i didn't like the indication how arrive in the hostel because the indication were totally wrong and i didn't find the indication to the hostel.so you have to change the indication.

Liked: my room-mates, but this has nothing to do with the hostel! :)

Disliked: no computers, no internet absolutely incompetent and unfriendly stuff!! told me: the 10% Deposit are not for them. its a booking fee. even if you show the booking-sheets, where booking fees is: NONE, the stuf goes not over from that point and you have to pay full again, or leave....

Liked: Very nice, clean rooms, en-suite bathrooms.

Disliked: A very long way out of town, at least a 20 minute bus ride. The directions on hostelbookers said to take the wrong bus to the hostel, had to take a cab to find it. There is not much atmosphere in the hostel, I only ever saw, let alone met, anyone that wasn`t in my dorm room.

Liked: Affordable, clean, ofessional, safe and secure.

Disliked: Lacked a bit of character (there didnn´t seem to be a lot going on in Dijon and the Hostel was almost a bit too big for it´s own good, but it was fine for a weekend stopover) also some of the staff were not quite as helpful as others, especially at breakfast time, the internet was rubbish too!

Liked: Great personal, helpful and friendly. The facilities are great, good internet speed and good rooms with shower and toilette inside.

Disliked: A bit far from downtown.

Liked: It was clean. The bathroom is small but looks like it was recently remodelled.

Disliked: It is very far away from the city centre. The bus stop is right in front but it takes about 40mins to get to the centre. The food isn't that good, for the same value you coyld eat somewhere better in the city centre.

Disliked: Everyone was French speaking, didn't meet anyone who wasn't already from France, very noisy in the corridors late at night

Liked: I liked the room, and the friendly staff the first night. Breakfast was good and tasty, though a bit bread-heavy... heh.

Disliked: 5 euros for one load of washing? really? LAME. and some staff seamed really quite miffed ALL the time. The 'computer' was one of those giant box machines that eats your money and doesnt work very well, even on the best days.... but if you're in a pinch it will get where you want on the web (45 minutes later).

Liked: Big school dorm, that rents our rooms. Only good for just sleeping. No place to see other travelers or connect with them.

Disliked: Staff did not manage to make a correct payment document (same as online booking suggested). There was no towels, it costs extra.

Liked: There is a pizza place just down the road. Pizza isn't bad.

Disliked: There is nothing else anywhere near apart from the pizza. They did not understand that we had already paid a deposit, and so had to pay it again. Seemed really to have no idea we would be arriving.

Liked: Do not go here if you can avoid it. A half hour bus ride out of centre on an industrial estate where food options are: KFC, McDonalds, a supermarket and Ikea cafeteria. Very bare and no character, internet is a euro for 10 minutes. Was here two nights and nearly went insane it was so empty. If your budget will stretch try and find a cheap hotel in the centre, it will be worth it. Also no mugs at breakfast, have never drunk tea from a cereal bowl before.

Liked: The front desk staff were very friendly. It was a very clean and well-run hostel, helps that I got upgraded for no extra cost from a dorm to a double shared room with private bathroom (like that of an airline!) and TV. They were happy for me to keep my bicycle in my room. Location is far from town but the bus stops beside the hostel and takes 10-15mn to town centre, is even easier if you have a bike. Can hire Velodi, like Paris Velib, but you must do it online at least a week in advance of arrival.Free breakfast was good enough to last until lunch: bread, coffee, croissant and yoghurt or fruit.There was a communal TV room but I didn`t go in.
