Firstly, it is one of the only locations in the town which has unobstructed views of the cathedral, the Roman Notre-Dame-du-Port church and the Auvergne volcanoes further away in the background. It is also the only hotel located right in the heart of the historic old town, just a short walk from the areas which captured the heart of philosopher Blaise Pascal, with views over Place Delille and the lava stone fountain.

fairly traded coffee and cocoa (by ‘Café Richard’) plus a selection of teas and infusions, various breads and pastries are freshly delivered every morning

Bacon, dry cured ham, cooked ham, scrambled eggs, selection of cheeses including Saint Nectaire, fresh yoghurt and sausages

Delicious appetizers packed with seasonal produce:
• ‘fromage Blanc’, chestnut cream and glazed chestnut chips
• rhubarb compote on a bed of meringue with butter biscuit chips
• ’Crème Praline’ and gingerbread
• pineapple ice cream, vanilla flavored cream and grated coconut
