Liked: It is very cheap in Chamonix and very near the center station

Disliked: no cabinet for the guest, and no key for the door of the hostel and room. It make me feel a little un-safety. But I did not lose any thing.

Liked: Seemed secure, fairly clean, most of the guests seemed to be sports types

Disliked: nowhere to sit and enjoy the views, e.g. benches in the little garden.

Liked: I really enjoyed my stay at the Chamoniard Volant! The staff was really helpfull to find some hicking to do in the mountains. It was also really clean. The only negative point that I see is that you can't lock your room so you have to keep all your valuables belongings with you, But I would defenitly come back to the Chamoniard Volant anytime!

Liked: A little out of town, but good budget option. Security is non-existent though, with no lockers and no locks to rooms.

Liked: It was basic, but really nice place to stay. The Chamonix bus stop was virtually on the doorstep. The owners did their best to keep noise after 10 pm to a minimum.

Liked: Was a pretty cheap and reasonable hostel. I just needed somewhere to shower and crash after a days snowboarding and this place hit the spot. Convenient location and great price, will definately stay again and recommend to others.

Liked: good value for money (chamonix is very expensive in general), room/bed/shower/toilet clean, can't complain. we were only sleeping there, so can't say anything about facilities (haven't used the kitchen for example), or how fun place it was. one thing i didn't like was that there was a door which was open 0-24, and we couldn't lock the dorm room either, so we left everything in the car (there were two lockers in a 6 bed dorm). it's a nice area so i guess nobody would come in from the street and rob you, but i found it a bit weird. in general it's a good hostel.
