Liked: Short walk from Chamonix centre Received a 20 percent discount voucher for ski/board hire

Disliked: Rooms did not lock and some dont even have lockers At night time the hostel is left open to anyone which is a major secuirty issue, especially when the individual dormitories dont lock On arrival there was no one behind reception, I had to go searching for an employee Toilets smell The owner, a French lady, is really unfriendly and has bad people skills

Liked: staffs speak great english and helped us a lot!! though foods are not that good. can be reached from the city central by 10-15mins walking, and there is a bus stop nearby. i think it's an ideal accommodation for budget savers, single travellers, people who doesnt care about the atmosphere in where you live, not suitable for couples. thanks very much for the hosting!!

Liked: Good place to meet other people especailly if you travel alone. Short walk to Chamonix center and very cheap stay.

Disliked: only one locker worked in the room. being told of for noise staff where unsympathetic to the fact i had been mugged and beaten up.

Liked: The hostel was basic but fine as base for snowboarding or skiing.

Disliked: The lights in the equipment kept turning off every 30 seconds or so. Good for the environment but not so good for putting on or taking off equipment.

Liked: I wouldn´t stay there again...

Disliked: They don´t change nor wash the sheets, they smelled terrible. The hostel had bad heating and it was very dark. It was impossible to find the staff, they were never around. The rooms have no keys, they stay open and so is the front door, there´s no security.

Liked: Cleanest bathroom of any hostel I've stayed in.Location was good, just 10 minutes from the centre walking.Great view of Mont Blanc.

Disliked: the smell in the big dorm. Had to sleep on the top bunk in the corner of the ceiling. No space up there!!

Liked: Easy to find due to signpost.

Disliked: Be aware that people go to bed early and get up early here... and there was no small lamp to light by the bunk eaither. No key to your room or safetybox to put valuables in.

Liked: The staff was friendly.

Disliked: The kitchen was very nasty! The rooms couldn't be locked. It was very dark in the hostel. The showers where too small.

Disliked: Bit of a walk, but worth it for the value.
