Liked: This was a great place to stay. The owners of the hostel were gorgeous, helping us with anything we needed and so lovely. The place was beautiful with lovely paintings and pictures around the house, and the location was perfect. I would recommend this place to everyone, and I would definitely go back and stay there.

Disliked: The bed was not perfect, but it was still comfortable.

Liked: The Millet family are awesome and very friendly and helpful.

Disliked: In my opinion, the price is far too high for the quality of the accomodation (considering that a hotel is just 15€ more per night. I also disliked the shared bathroom/toilet and the non existing communal areas

Liked: Richard and Mae are great hosts, very welcoming and forthcoming with tips and advice on what to do and see in the town, where and what to eat etc. The guesthouse is part of their house so it's very warm and comfortable, perfect for a good rest after a day of traipsing around the old town.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Meetings with others guests during breakfast was very good opportunity to meet interesting people and also share travel tips. Staff was very friendly, they show us everything worth of visiting on the map.

Disliked: In the room, there was quite noise from the street.

Liked: Really friendly staff, Were lovely and really helpful on our arrival at the beginning of our interrailing trip. Would recomend it and stay again.

Disliked: A little noisey from traffic, but if you want a central location then you will always get this.

Liked: The situation of the property was excellent for visiting all areas of the city of Carcassonne. It was very clean and the owners were very helpful.

Liked: The Guesthouse is probably closer to a B&B than a hostel. The couple who own the residence are lovely and friendly. They took the time to explain the city to me and recommend the area I absolutley had to see.The breakfast in the mornign is a continental style breakfast but there is planty of food and lots of hot tea and coffee.There is no guest kitchen so don't expect to cook your own food.

Liked: Absolutely loved this place! The owners were extremely welcoming and helpful. The location is right in the center of town, so there are many restaurants nearby. About a 20 minute hike up to the fortified city, which in itself is an adventure. The rooms are huge and comfortably furnished. Bathroom is also very clean. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a nice and comfortable place to stay while in Carcassonne.

Liked: The room had high ceilings and nice view over the garden. The owners were lovely & very personable. Lovely and clean and light. Very easy to find.

Disliked: That there was only one [very clean] on the top floor and that the walls are very thin. Also, I think that for breakfast, they should offer cereal rather than just croissants and pain au chocolat.

Liked: The owners were very friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome in their guesthouse and letting us know what to do and where to go in Carcassonne. The rooms are spacious and it was nice to have a sitting room and garden to relax in. The guesthouse is just a 5 minute walk from the main train station and in the heart of the town next to shops, cafes and restaurants. The medieval citadel is a 20 minute walk. The rooms facing the street were a bit noisy but ok overnight with earplugs. Overall excellent value for money, especially with the continental breakfast included.

Liked: They are very kind and consider us everytime. They can speak English very well and explain some place for the trip. If I visit carcassone, I will stay Millett Guesthouse again.Just... early in the morning, it was little cold.

Liked: Richard and Mei were extremely helpful upon arrival and through out our stay in Carcassonne. The guesthouse was very quaint and clean, we felt very safe. Breakfast was a nice array of croissants, and Mei was willing to accomodate beverages and those who are gluten free. A friend and I had booked a room and needed to add a friend last minute, so they were willing to pull an extra bed into our room. They were able to inform us on things to do and the area in general. Staying with them made our trip very worth while.
