HI Hostel Turku

Visit one of the oldest hostels in Finland! We are located in a peaceful area near the city center by the river Aura and are asy to reach from the airport and the harbor with a direct bus connection.

Hostel Turku is an excellent choice for travellers, who want to get to know Turku. It is located within walking distance from the town centre (appr. 1.8 km) and the most popular sights.

There are two self service kitchens in our hostel, laundry facilities with a tumble dryer and a separate drying room. Served breakfast is also available.

Showers and toilets are located in corridors for men and women separately and also disabled have been taken into account.

No pets allowed.

We have Hostelling International Cards and TurkuCards for sale. You may also rent a bicycle from the reception.

Payable internet access.

Daily check-in time is 15.00-21.00. Later arrivals only by agreement.
Curfew at 02.00 in dorms.

We accept the following credit cards: Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard and Maestro.

Accommodation Information

There are 23 non smoking rooms in the hostel. You can choose between a twin, a quadruple room and a six or eight bedded dormitory. We have separate dorms for males and females.

There are wooden bunk beds in most of our rooms and in most of the rooms (excl. dorms) there is a refrigerator.

For the guests staying in the dorms there is a locker for each quest. You may bring your own padlock or buy one at the reception.

We provide pillows and blankets. The bed linen is not included in your bed price. You may use your own linen or rent some from our reception (4.50e).

Hostel Turku is located within walking distance from the town centre (approx. 1.5 km) and harbour (approx. 2 km).
