Liked: It was clean and the rooms are big enough for the number of people (we lived in a 12 people dormitory). The staff is friendly and very helpful. You get towels and sheets for free and can get a good breakfast for 6€ every morning.

Liked: Nice TV room and kitchen. Check-in is just after 3pm though, which sucks if you get there at 6am. The lady in reception at my arrival time was quite rude, but a couple of days later she was much nicer in the afternoon. Morning moods, I guess...

Liked: I had this unpleasant experience in the hostel; we came to our room with my boyfriend late at night, an a girl was sleeping in my bed. She wouldn't wake up so we went to talk to the receptionist. She just gave me new sheets to make another bet. All that was a fault of the receptionist, becase she had told the girl to lie in other bed when the bed for her was taken. But the room was completely full!!! We were thinking to complain in the morning and ask for money back, but we let it go.. In this hostel it is probably normal that people go to someone else's bed..

Liked: Some rooms were cozy and nice but kitchen big downer!!Def not the best hostel I have been ... the structure is pretty old and cold but remains one of the only chances to book a cheap place in Helsinkia city that has nothing to do with the word cheap..Other hostels in Helsinki do exist but are not mentioned on the net.

Liked: There are many sport facilities around the hostel (I especially recommend Olympic swimming pool), so if you are keen on sports, it would be a good choice.

Liked: A little bit out of the city centre but it's close to the tram & bus routes. Lots of nice features makes up for this slight inconvenience. Overall a nice place to stay.
