Liked: staff was helpful

Disliked: bathroom was very dirty. there were several hairs on bathroom floor.

Liked: I have only been to hotels, so this was my firsti experience. I reply according to that. Room was dirty (floors) and there was no carbage bin in toilet. Nothin to wipe the tables or stove. If you want people to clean after themselves, make sure they can. I can´t understand that this was the best hostel year 2008.

Liked: Very good place, clean and confortable, with a lot of nice services like sauna and swimming pool

Disliked: You have to pay the internet connection and the sauna and the swimming pool are opened only in morning at special hours

Liked: Nice and clean, reception open 24/7, which was great for my 1am arrival, i canrecommend thdnew building,where I stayed, morning sauna for free, trams in Helsinky doesn't make sense so ask at least two localsfor direction;)

Liked: In was near to all the places we wanted to go. A walk to the city only 10 minutes and to the harbor about 20. Super location and several different buildings. A fun complex when it is finished.

Disliked: The floors seamed unclean.

Disliked: Little far from centre of the town, but you can go walking without problems.

Liked: I got a single room with bathroom and it was a nice room. The shower was probably the best I had my whole 3 weeks in Europe (even though it shares the floor with the rest of the bathroom!). I was only there for a night on a 23 hour layover through Helsinki so I didn't see much in the way of facilities, but it was a nice place to stay for a night.

Liked: The property was extremely clean, to some extent it felt a bit like a hospital - very clinical like. The staff were friendly and helpful and they provide a good service. overall was a good place to stay.

Liked: The locations' good, the place is secure, and being a part of the HI chain, you know everything is well kept and up to code. However, it sucks that the rooms are on a different building than the common room and reception. It means that whenever you want to use the WiFi (which is not free, BTW), watch TV or just talk to people, you have to go back all the way.

Liked: It would be a good idea to mention that the hostel only opens during the summer break of university and the hostel is in fact the dorms of the university, could be atractive for some clients and less surprises when you are there and the building is just going to be open for hostel purposes
