Liked: Newly renovated, clean and spacious room, nice kitchenette and bathroom. Free Wi-Fi everywhere. The buildings center around the hostels own newly done courtyard.

Disliked: The windows only open very little, difficult to get fresh air in the summer heat. Common room-kitchen messy and not very clean. The breakfast-buffet is dull and consists of very few elements - use your own kitchen, that has both fridge and oven.

Liked: The staff were excellent, the sauna was great and the in room showers were powerful.

Disliked: The fact that there wasn't a great communal area, but it still wasn't that bad.

Disliked: extra charges not clear before booking hence i could have made an alternate booking with all the extra's included for a cheaper price elsewhere, reminds me of low fares airlines adding charges on after you have purchased!!

Liked: Staff were helpful and bilingual, room was clean & beds were comfortable, bathroom was large and clean & you could cook your own meals if you wished.

Disliked: Road works are being carried out near by but the noise can't be helped by the hostel

Liked: Great location, 10 minutes walk to central railway station. Free internet (both wifi and on-site terminals). Ask about their free morning sauna for the real Finnish experience (they seem to forget to mention it to you upon checking in). The rooms are spacious and have a fridge. Cutlery can be borrowed from the common room.

Disliked: nothing really, a bit too big and not much possibility to meet other people, except in a lift or on the grounds.

Liked: Simple but nice rooms. We had nice double rooms, with a fantastic bathroom to a reasonable price. Everything is walking distance, we took the tram only once during our stay. Shopping mall, bars and restaurants are really close.

Disliked: There was no WiFi around and you could only use the PCs in the lobby, which were occupied a lot of times.

Liked: THE STAFF WERE PARTICULARLY HELPFUL. THERE IS A SELF-SERVICE LAUNDRY ON SITE, THE USE OF WHICH IS FREE AND LAUNDRY POWDER AND CONDITIONER IS EVEN PROVIDED. VERY FAST INTERNET IS AVAILABLE THROUGH ABOUT FIVE TERMINALS.

Disliked: NOTHING NEGATIVE ABOUT THIS UNIVERSITY RESIDENCE.

Liked: good location, close to city centre. room is super spacious with a mini kitchen -> ask the reception for cooking utensils! (we didnt know till we check out).

Disliked: the sauna is free but is only opened in early morning. also, it was under maintenance during our stay (but the staff didnt notify us when we check-in).

Disliked: There are three buildings in this hostel and it's easy to get lost for me. As it's construction while I was staying in, it's noisy.

Liked: Nice blonde receptionist:) Decent room with good facilities. It was like a small studio apartment.

Disliked: There was noisy building work during the daytime.

Disliked: No free wifi/computer use. A bit clumsy to open several doors before getting into the room.

Liked: The staff were friendly and the room was clean.

Disliked: The kitchenette was very poorly equipped. You could go and get stuff from the main kitchen to use in your room but there were only two baking trays and only one mug between the whole hostel!

Liked: Modern furnishings, Sauna. Girls on reception.

Disliked: Room had kitchenette but there were no utensils, pans etc - they had to be brought from downstairs. There was also not a kettle, a reading light by the bed or a light switch close to the bed. The location, although close to the centre was in a pretty rough part of the city.. No A/C .
