Academica Summer Hostel

Hostel Academica is located in the city centre! All rooms are equipped with private facilities and a small kitchen with a refrigerator. Morning sauna and swimming are free of charge!

Hostel Academica is located in the city centre! All rooms come with private facilities and with a small kitchenette with refrigerator. Morning sauna and swimming are free of charge!

The rooms have a private toilet, shower and kitchenette with a fridge. Kitchen equipment can be borrowed. Bed linen and towels are included in the room price. There is a possibility for internet connection in the rooms. Part of the rooms were renovated in 2004 and part in 2011.

Breakfast is available daily from 7 am -10 am. We also have parking facilities; please contact us if you wish to reserve parking for your car. Safety boxes are available in the reception and we also have a free luggage room. Free internet can be used in our common room.

Our location is central; the hostel is situated close to the beautiful Hietaniemi beach, Kamppi shopping mall, restaurants and sightseeing attractions. Tram and bus stops are around the corner, while the metro, train and bus stations are only a short walk away.

Hostel Academica won the Hostel of the Year 2008 as according to the Finnish Youth Hostel Federation.
