Liked: This hostel is very clean and near from the central station! It takes only 15 minutes on foot,10 minutes by tram.

Disliked: I had to pay 5 euro to use wifi per day

Liked: Well organised with great facilities and helpful stuff. The tram stops right outside the hostel, even though the distance to the centre is walkable (not advices at -16 though). Clean and big rooms (we stayed in a private twin). Overall, worth its money, considering Helsinki is incredibly expensive.

Disliked: No character or atmosphere whatsoever. The common room in the reception was really a waiting room and nothing more and the common kitchen was that, a kitchen (and incredibly cold to sit in anyways).

Liked: The hostel is very clean and the staff are very nice and helpful. The location is very good, a short walk to the center and near to the trams.

Liked: Cleanliness of rooms and bathrooms. Availability of kitchen and bathrooms. They have a lot of information about attractions, schedules of transports, they sell transport cards and tickets to the "main touristic places". A lot of private rooms.

Disliked: They didn,t even had a teapot to make a tea in the kitchens. Cold attitude of the staff to guests. Lot of drunk people making noise and they didnt care about this fact. You can hear everything from your room and other rooms can hear everything that you do, because of thin walls. The atmosphere was like a hotel, really cold, they didnt have any living room for meeting and communications with the other guests, just a poor lobby and a restaurant.

Liked: Location - hard to get accommodation in Helsinki. So to get something in town, and value for money, is great.

Liked: Excellent hostel. It looks to me as if it was purpose built, so the rooms are small and plenty with fewers beds in each which makes the stay more confortable and pleasant. The shower rooms remind me of those of a gym, excellent. Finally each bed comes with a not so small warbrobe with keys. This was by far the best hostel I have ever stayed in!

Liked: It's really close to the city center, although the toilet and shower is shared but quite clean. Rooms are also ok for the money, and don't really expect a better accomodation in Helsinki for this price.

Disliked: The walls are really thin, so you can hear what happens both on the corridor and in other rooms, even if people are just speaking quietly.

Disliked: it was not that cozy. Thy could use some effort on making it more cozy. Put som paintings on the walls etc.

Liked: Location to ferry port was only good point

Disliked: Hostel is too big for a nice atmosphere. It seems a lot of people staying there are workers so limited with mutual conversations. Not hostels fault but 95% of guests were rude - not smiling, not returning hello's and a lot of spitting in toilets! Location is good for the port but too far from city centre. Bar closed at 12 so unless you want to walk 20 mins, there is nothing to do. Reception staff are helpful and friendly, one bar staff never broke a smile and appeared rude! Beds were uncomfortable and lack of shower and toilet in room meant sharing with people with limited manners. Price is ok for Finland as expensive country but I would be really dissapointed to pay the price somewhere else for the quality of our stay.

Liked: It was a Hotel like Hostel, too big to be my favorite. But it ´s ok. It´s hard to get in contact with others.
