Liked: It was cheap.

Disliked: The elevator, the showers, the corridors, the beds and the bed sheets.

Liked: Nice place. Good location. I don't know if air conditioned was damaged or nonexistent. But really missed. You must to pay for wi-fi. 5 euros for 24 hours. I had some connection problems but the guy in reception was really kind and helpful.

Disliked: No air conditioned.

Disliked: The toilets (men) were in quite horrible condition.

Liked: Clean and mostly quite. Didnt have to bring sheets and towels. Coffemachine in the loby

Disliked: Strange smell in the corridor. Maybe exchange the carpet there...

Liked: Room was okay, quite clean.

Disliked: Womens showers were just weird, you can see through the doors. You had to pay for EVERYTHING. Wifii is not free which is bloody ridiculous seeing as the whole city has free wifii. You had to pay to even have your own fridge storage, kitchen stove didn't work properly. Beds uncomfortable. Location is not even good, too far out. So basically it has nothing to offer for the money you pay & would not recommend it. We had just come from a hostel in Sweden that offered free breakfast, wifii and pasta so it was hard to adjust to this hostel offering nothing!!!!

Liked: The location is very convenient. We coeld leave our car near the hostel and walk through the city. The city center is but a few steps. From our window was a wonderfull sight on the harbor!

Disliked: It was very noizy on the street. Next time I would ask a room with the windows into the yard.

Liked: The showers were nice and clean, the water jet was powerful. The rooms are spacious and convenient for unpacking luggages.

Disliked: The walls are not very soundproof. I could always hear my neighbours.

Liked: It was friendly and welcoming and my room was pleasant. The facilities were good. Although I had to pay for it breakfast was good and I would say that the menu and food for the evening meal are excellent.

Disliked: Prior to arrival I found it difficult to locate. A map with a line to it would have been helpful.

Liked: it should put the kitchen in the middle of the corridor... cause these two days i lived in the end of the corridor... and kitchen was located on the other side! every time i want to go to the kitchen ,i thought why it's so far!!

Disliked: if the hostel can offer free wifi it would be awsome!!!

Liked: The rooms were clean and well kept.

Disliked: The area in which the hostel is located is a bit desolate. You can take the tram to go to the city center, which is quite convenient, but if you prefer to walk, the area is very unexciting. Also, the restaurant there is unnecessarily expensive.

Disliked: The rooms/showers could have been a bit cleaner.

Liked: It was a private room for two people at a reasonable price for Helsinki. The location was pretty good, especially in comparison with the locations of other available hostels. Supermarkets and cathedrals are nearby. The security was great (each room worked with an electronic card), and Helsinki is a pretty safe city in general. There was also 24 hour reception, which was nice since our plane came in late. Towels and sheets are provided free of charge.

Disliked: It wasn't a great place to meet people, mostly because the hostel had a college dorm setup (long hallway with double rooms and a bathroom at either end). Decoration was pretty scarce, so the room felt pretty empty and bare. The kitchen was okay, but didn't have an oven. They advertised a free sauna, but it was out of order when we were there. It's also best to book directly off of the hostel's website if you want to save a few euros--most of the booking websites advertise a more expensive price than the hostel's own price.

Liked: nice location, tram 4 takes you quickly to aleksanterinkatu or the train station.

Disliked: My room was a bit cold.

Liked: Great location very close to tram stop and also an easy walk into town to the main sights, nice room with lockers, very helpful staff.

Disliked: Internet was very expensive, the walls are very thin so you can hear people walking up and down the coridors and talking in the rooms beside you and over the hall.
