Liked: This Hostel is one of the cleanest I have stayed in so far in Scandanavia. Smelled like fresh laundry and the price included linens, which is rare. Few rooms and few beds makes it quiet and good for those travellers looking for a more tranquil and relaxed location. Location was great even though on the island. The ferry takes you directly from the island to the market square and city center, no inconvenience at all. We really enjoyed our stay and didnt want to leave.

Liked: i liked the location on suomenlinna, the island in front of helsinki, absolutely mistic! anyway if you want to visit helsinki you have to take the boat (15 min)

Liked: No lockers in dorms and beware- the kitchen is NOT really a kitchen- its absolutley tiny!! Same goes for the number of showers. But the location is great- we think its actually a plus being on the island after initially worrying that it would be too inconvenient. it wasnt at all. the staff we were in contact with were really nice and friendly all the time.

Liked: Clean, quiet, helpful staff. Located on a wonderful island that worth the visit. Close to Helsinki with the 13-minutes ferry running every 20min in a beauiful bay.

Liked: The only thing I liked was the location. The man made me feel very uncomfortable. I stood at the door ringing for 15 minutes afterwhich he answered, making me feel more like a door to door salesman than a person who had a reservation for two nights.

Liked: incredibly tranquil. just off the main city, in the middle of the sea. hostel is just off the pier so no need to drive your luggage around the island. staff was one of the friendliest i have ever had. big thumbs up!

Liked: Nice hostel but a bit sterile and feels institutional. I think this makes it difficult to meet people because there is not really a friendly warm atmosphere. The staff were kind and helpful and the place is clean. Value for money - you won't do better in Helsinki which unless you come from Scandinavia is gonna be expensive. The island is easy to get to and is interesting to explore and surprisingly the ferries run back and forth until 2am which is good if you are on a night out. There is a nice cafe open till 8.30 just around the corner alongside a small jetty.

Liked: An amazing island off Helsinki which makes staying there feel quite adventurous. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hostel was very chilled out and relaxed.
