Our hostel is located in the Suomenlinna Island Fortress, on Iso Mustasaari, near Jetty Barracks and the ferry harbor main quay.

We recommend you take a Helsinki City Transport ferry that runs from the main market square through the year to Suomenlinna. The trip takes only 15 minutes. This connection arrives right next to our Hostel.

The ticket costs 2.00Euro bought from the ticket machine in the quay. Ticket is valid in all Helsinki City Transport system on trams, buses, trains, subway and ferry inside Helsinki.
-In the summer time the ferry goes every 20 minutes (from 1st of May till 31st of August)
-Other times of the year - once in an hour.
During the night there are four hours that ferry is not running, from 2am to 6am.

In the summer time there is also a JTL water bus connection from the main market square to Suomenlinna Visitor Centre. One way ticket costs 6.50Euro.
