Liked: the staff who work here are amazing! we were treated like family and had lots of fun. they dont really have a beach but they were more than happy to take us out of their boat to the blue lagoon to go snorkelling for free. Volley ball with the kids was great fun and Eddie's singing was the best.

Disliked: its not in the best location.

Liked: The staff was the best part of Bay of Plenty! They are all so welcoming and warm; they made us feel right at home. The views from the bures are amazing, the food (included in the price) is great and the activities were interesting and fun. On our last night we sat down to the fresh, creative tropical menu while Steve, the chef, and Eddie, the groundskeeper, were serenading us and even wrote me a love song! Although there is no beach, the staff had no problem making the short transfer every day to the beach where the film 'Blue Lagoon' was shot. The swimming and snorkeling there was great. The longer we stayed, the more we loved it here so you have to stay at least 2 nights (we stayed 3) and do as many of the free activities as possible! The Fijian lessons, the farm visit, basket weaving and coconut demo were highlights! Dan was the most welcoming host we've ever met and we miss him already! Would definitely recommend for a few nights of an island hopping trip!

Disliked: Bring your own snorkel gear if you have it because their gear is very limited.

Liked: very friendly staff, has no beach, but plenty of activities and free transport to Blue Lagoon where you can swim and snorkel. Not the place for partying, but higly recommended to see the real fiji life. We loved it!
