Liked: The rooms were tidy, and had views over the lake. If you wantedto escape from the beach or the busy city then this would be a good place to go and see a different side of fiji.

Disliked: There are no activities or excursions promoted by the staff / hostel. so you have to entertain yourself. the staff were not as freindly or helpful as they could have been.

Liked: The setting of the hostel is lovely (the views) and the lady who works the bar is very friendly.

Disliked: We only saw one other person staying at the raintree our whole stay, very quiet! The wash facilities are pretty poor, of the 2 showers for everyone only 1 was working. The girl working reception was very unfriendly and did not seem to want to help us with anything.

Liked: Raintree Lodge was very clean. They upgraded us from the dorms to a villa because they weren't very busy. The property is VERY well kept and clean. We ate breakfast there every morning for a week and it was delicious. The bus is super easy to catch across the street if you want to head to Suva for about $1.25 USD. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Liked: we we're pretty much alone at the resort, up graded for free to an amazing room. Staff was great!
