Relaxing, no agenda free to do own thing. Comortable beds, clean rooms lots of windows to keep room cool, dark nights once generator off
Overview
Nananu-i-ra is 4 km off the north Viti Levu coast and about 2 hours by road from Nadi Airport.
Nananu-i-ra is 4 km off the north Viti Levu coast and about 2 hours by road from Nadi Airport. Our boat leaves from Ellington Wharf and ferries you to the island in 15 minutes over sheltered waters. Nananu has 8 white sandy beaches, fantastic diving, excellent snorkeling and a wonderful relaxing atmosphere.
Naivere Bay with The Nakauvadra Ranges in the background makes for such a peaceful setting, you will just want to lie back and let it do you good. Snorkeling is easy and rewarding within the bay and there are heaps of fish in the sanctuary off the end of the jetty. You can swim at all tides.
Scuba diving is excellent with a variety of first class dives a 30 minute boat ride from the beach. Please ask at the Shop and our staff will put you in contact with the dive operators who are based on the island. Full PADI facilities are available.
We hire kayaks and snorkeling gear and in the Beach Bure you will find information about snorkeling and fishing trips, windsurfing and sailing. Please check the map or ask our staff about the walks; pay attention to what the tide is doing and how many hours of daylight you have.
The Windward Beach is an excellent location for windsurfing and kite boarding. Coaching and hire gear available but you need to book.
Our Barbecues and Kava Nights are happy occasions and an opportunity to make new friends from all parts of the world.
