Liked: Cheap. The breakfast (included) was much better then what you expect from a cheap hostel offering free breakfast: coffee/tea, juice, cereals, toasts, porridge and fresh fruit.

Disliked: I booked one night through hostelbookers, but when I wanted to book one more night at the reception they charged 3 dollars more. And everything costs (lockers 2 dollars, wifi 8 dollars per hour...). I then changed to Bamboo hostel 30m from there, which was cheaper, offered free wifi, free lockers, 7-dollar lunch, free kava-sessions, etc. Go for that one!

Liked: its location...right next to the beach! it had a cheap restaurant and a swimming pool

Disliked: I was in an aircon room and just like in many places it was directed just on 2 beds...so they were cold while the rest of us were too hot! better off in a fan room possibly

Liked: It was very close to the beach and being able to use the sister hostel made it even better. It was very clean and safe.

Disliked: Its about 10 min outside of Nadi in a bus.

Liked: I liked the fact you cud use the facilities at smugglers cove and it has the same menu but cheaper!! :)

Liked: The staff were the most beautiful people you could hope to meet. They provided you with every need whether it be clean sheets, a beach recommendation, or a smile. The rooms were nice, and the Fiji Bitter was cheap. =)

Disliked: The only thing I disliked about this property was knowing how little the staff is paid for what they do. They deserve more.

Liked: The food and drinks are cheap and there is a free shuttle service to pick you up from the airport.

Disliked: The showers can even be used hot or cold and noting else in between. The hot tap is way to hot for any human to stand under withough getting burnt so it is cold shower or nothing and the staff were really unhelpful when I asked them to come look at the shower. We stayed here 2 nights, the 1st night we were in a dorm which had air conditioning but the 2nd night we were in a private room which only had a fan to cool the room down and this did not work.

Liked: Good price, good room. Good place to start-finish the trip in Fiji (close to airport)

Disliked: Poor breakfast. Not good beach.

Liked: location and the fact it had a pool

Disliked: the bathrooms were fairly dirty and most of the staff didn't even acknowledge you and were rude and they had a collection of phones and cameras that they didn't have chargers for... hmmmmmmm.....

Liked: the staff are really nice. so welcoming and friendly they really make the hostel and are some warm and caring

Disliked: Lot's of mozzies in our room, the hostel could do with some nets. other than that it's cheap and a good place to stay for a night.

Liked: Staff very helpful. Free use of smugglers pool, internet, etc which is right next door and right on the beach! Make sure you ask for sheets- blankets a bit gross

Liked: Basic and clean, good food and not far from the center of town, only an 8 dollar cab ride so just over 2 pounds but then split between 4/5 of you is nothing!

Liked: unhelpful staff, we booked 1 night for superior room. After your payment, no one will care about you. No cold water (limited cold water) fm the shower tap. No one will help u to change the electric tube. No one will indicate the breakfast bar...

Liked: Cheap and cheerful. The facilities nextdoor at Smugglers are good, although there is little in the area other than resorts and it is not close to Nadi town. Lots of mozzies!!!

Liked: it was extremely quiet in terms of livliness and backpackers... however you can easily go to Smugglers Cove next door and have a really lovely dinner and cocktails on the beach!

Liked: The double rooms were very nice and tidy and cheap. We booked a double superior with aircon. and fridge, the room had one double bed and three more beds, and we payed 65 FJD for the room, so if you are a small group of people it will be very cheap and comfortable! Horizon lays next to Smugglers and Aquarius and you are free to use there facilities. The breakfast at Horizon was pretty bad though... Only toast and tea, no fruit and no juice...

Liked: Good value accommodation, no thrills but clean and I have no complaints. You can spend all your time next door in the fancy resort, so makes perfect sense to stay at Horizon as much cheaper

Liked: You get to use smugglers which is just next door. Its a good stop over for the airport and its only $12 for a taxi to airport. I would bring earplugs due to next door - if you want a good nights sleep, if getting up early. Breakfast starts from 6am which is good.
