TUBAKULA is the ideal place for a casual and affordable beach vacation, and the only BEACH FRONT budget property in this area. Our location near the Outrigger on the Lagoon Resort gives the budget traveller the option of either a quiet relaxing holiday or access to a wide range of activities nearby. Recommended both by the Fiji Handbook (2004) and the Lonely Planet Fiji guide (2003).

Tubakula is not just for Backpackers... it’s for anyone wanting to relax and unwind — families, couples and singles of all ages will feel equally welcome in this peaceful and unhurried beach front setting.
PLEASE NOTE: Tubakula is a not a 'party scene' property and we don't offer much in the way of organized 'fun'; travellers looking to 'party on' will probably find us a little too quiet and laidback.
PRIVATE BUNGALOWS: 27 bungalows, simply furnished but with all that you need: kitchens (2-burner gas cooker, refrigerator, utensils and crockery), bathrooms with hot/cold water, downstairs bedroom (sleeps 2), extra beds upstairs, ceiling fans, insect screens, linens and maid service. (Private bungalows are not currently available on this booking engine-please contact us directly to make a booking, or you are most welcome to upgrade to bungalow accommodation after arrival)
PRIVATE ROOMS with shared bathrooms: A few single and double/twin rooms with shared bathroom and kitchen facilities are available for those not requiring an entire bungalow. Private rooms available on this booking engine all have shared bathrooms and kitchens.
DORM: The Beach club offers 8 dormitory rooms (5 beds each) with a communal kitchen and shared bathrooms.
**Note: Dorm accommodations are not suitable for babies or children; we have other great accommodation available for families.
ACTIVITIES: There are lots of activities available in the Coral Coast area, including: Bushwalking, Local markets (fresh fruit/veg), Surfing, Canoeing/rafting, Fire walking/Fijian feasts, Sand dunes, Cultural tours, Snorkeling, Eco tours, and a Waterfall trip.
It is approximately 1 hour by car from Nadi to Tubakula and 2.5 hours by car from Suva to Tubakula. Buses and air-conditioned coaches will stop at our front gate if requested.
Getting here from Nadi International Airport (all prices approximate): By Bus, hailed on Nadi highway, to hotel: (daylight hours only) approx F$10.00-F$15.00 per person
By Taxi from Nadi Airport to hotel: around F$75.00 per taxi
CHECK-IN TIME: Is 3 pm on day of arrival. If you are arriving on an early morning flight and would like to check is as soon as you arrive, you will need to book from the night before.
RECEPTION: is open from 7 am to 10 pm daily. After hours check in is possible by prior arrangement only (please see note regarding early morning arrivals above)
FACILITIES: Sandy white beach, Snorkel hire, Volleyball, Swimming pool, Mini market (food/liquor), Tours arranged, Spacious grounds, Foreign exchange.
MEALS: We offer simple, home-style meals in our main building (average prices from F$5-F$10). In addition, all bungalows have kitchens and all other rooms share communal kitchens. A variety of cafes, takeaways and restaurants are a short stroll away.
NOTES:
a) Requests for UPGRADES from dorm to private rooms or bungalows may be made directly with property after booking, provided space is available. Requests for downgrades of accommodation (i.e. from private room to dormitory) after booking will be treated as cancellations and rebooking, subject to availability, and original deposits paid may be forfeited.
b) Deposits are applied on a pro rata per person basis (spread across the length of stay originally booked); early check-outs will not receive credits or refunds for unused accommodation. IMPORTANT: Therefore it is best to book only for those days you know you will definitely be staying, as you can always extend after arrival if space is available.
c) No-shows and late or last minute cancellations will be charged a penalty to the credit card provided.
d) Deposits paid to this booking engine are non-refundable.
