Liked: The room was nice and they had free coffee

Disliked: The noice in our room was horrible. We couldn't sleep at all. They should invest in a double window. the room was also really small and we bearly fit with our bags

Disliked: Showers were a bit variable in temperature, bunk beds creaked a lot in the night, and the key cards often didn't work.

Liked: The location was good and the front of the house was nice.

Disliked: The staff was unfriendly. The room was smelly and claustrophobic. We went 100 meters further up the street and got a better deal for 20 pounds per night.

Liked: The room was really beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. It's fantastic value for money given how nice it is and how good the facilities are (hot drinks in the room, en suite). The breakfast was great too, for an extra 4.50 per person.

Disliked: Nothing really! It's not a hostel, it's a proper B&B so there is no relaxed communal area with other people to chat to, but that wasn't what we were after so it was perfect.

Liked: Stayed at Blossom's on a Sunday night so was quite cheap. Great location, friendly staff. Only stayed one night and room was right near the front door so didn't actually see much of the place but seemed nice. Room was pleasant enough, what you'd expect for the price really. Being in a front room I thought the road would keep us up but not at all. Good shower.

Liked: Petty close to the city's walls and set in a nice neighbourhood. A really quality budget hotel. Fully recommended for a cheap nice night

Disliked: Our bathroom was very small but it was ensuite. Walls are a little thin but no big deal at all.

Liked: The proximity to town

Disliked: A lot of money for something run down, matress was uncomfortable and the room a bit of a tight squeeze. If this was 30% cheaper then I think it would be expected, but at £70 a night I would expect more.

Liked: Great location and helpful staff. Free wifi. Breakfast and other meals can be bought. Being a guesthouse there is no self catering, and you don't get to meet many other travellers. One of the most expensive nights of our trip, but maybe everything in York is expensive.
