Liked: B&B/Guest house NOT a hostel! Decent double room with en suite (was actually a family room with an extra bed so lots of space) and good shower. Up four flights of stairs so a bit of a trek with a heavy suitcase, but the staff did offer to carry it for me! Brekkie on offer but we didn't try it. Great location, 10-15 mins walk to the Minster and 5 mins to a Sainsbury's local which is handy. Good security and TV in room. We enjoyed our stay here.

Liked: Very close to York Town centre, clean rooms with everything one could want. Staff were very helpful. A very nice Hostel/B&B :)

Liked: clean and tv facilities. Sadly the wireless doesn't work thru the thick fire doors but internet downstairs was free so it worked out

Liked: Everything - it shouldn't be called a hostel though, as it was too good for that, I have stayed in worse 3 star hotels. I think this place was superb!

Liked: It is more like a guesthouse than a hostel. Very clean. Staff member on duty cooks restaurant quality meals breakfast and supper at reasonable prices. Cosy dining room and internet is free. Room was fantastic especially the free coffee and biscuits. Great quality.
