 reasonably priced meals at the reasturant and good size meals. Staff very helpful.

Stunning surroundings albeit a bit hidden, but this adds to the whole atmoshpere. The room we were in was a bit small, but perfectly suited for just the thing we used the room - to sleep and to have a shower in the morning. Breakfast was plenty, and I have yet to come across another hotel that serves food this good! Arrival is only advisable by car though.

Breakfast to be included. Cost wise - targetted for professionals or working families, rather than students.

Beautiful hotel and area, but quite a distance outside of York. Was a little difficult to find.
