Liked: I've been to about 15 backpackers and this is the BEST. Its clean, comfy, friendly and great atmosphere but not noisy.

Disliked: no complain at all!

Liked: I only stayed one night at Torquay Backpackers and I arrived late and left early so there's not much I can comment on. The staff however were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable. I'd booked for a 4 bed dorm but the 3 other beds never got filled so I had the room to myself! I particularly liked the large lockers provided that you could put your own lock on to secure your belongings. They also have a sink in the room. The location is good, close to the main shopping strip, not far from the harbour and train station.

Disliked: The bathrooms weren't as clean as they could be especially considering they don't have many to clean.

Liked: Lockers under the bunkbeds, free parking at weekends in rear access car park. Hot showers with good temperature regulation. Free Tea & Coffee. Somebody passed out drunk on the pool table at about 23:30 on Saturday :-) V Funny. Hostel very quiet and easy to sleep.

Disliked: Could not find milk for the free tea and coffee. Bunk Beds in our room had no side panels so was nervous about falling off the top bunk during the night.

Liked: A friendly place right in the centre of Torquay, with lots of character, free wifi, free tea and coffee, parking for two or three cars, everything a traveller needs is there.

Liked: Internet for free. Very central location.

Disliked: En-suite bathrooms were a little bit greasy the communal ones were however fine.

Liked: free parking at the back or around the corner.

Disliked: Please change the worn out mattrasses. Open up windows in each room during the day, the fan in the badroom cannot handle everything.

Liked: Very nice, great staff, relaxed and nice room. Good facilities and well organised. Already planning to go back again!

Disliked: No towels that we could see - but that was all.

Liked: lovely and modern place

Disliked: you have limited number of using the shower which didn´t work very well

Liked: Cheap and well located.

Disliked: Shower with tokens of 7 minuts each (only the first fir free). Staff not always reachable. Beds unconfortable with no sheets or towels. No "fun" activities whatsoever.
