Le Papillon

Le Papillon is a very popular backpackers hostel which welcomes families groups or single travellers. It is ideally situated within walking distance to the local train and coach station, the beach, harbour and the town centre where you will find all the best clubs and pubs. Le Papillon has its own car park for up to 14 cars and a large garden for sunbathing and Barbecues.

Le Papillon is a popular backpacker’s hostel set in a quarter acre of land with a large car park and a big south facing garden with BBQ area.
All the rooms have wooden floors, wash basins and comfortable beds.
The TV lounge has comfortable armchairs to rest after a busy day and free wireless Internet access.
The breakfast room leads to the garden and on sunny days breakfast or dinner can be taken outside.
The kitchen is large and well equipped and ideal for self catering.
There are 3 shower rooms + toilets, as well as 2 more separate toilet rooms
Le Papillon is also suited for families as it is a small comfortable hostel situated in a quiet area.
From Le Papillon it is only a 10 minute walk to reach the sea. Most of the fabulous sandy beaches around the bay are within easy reach
As the English Riviera has one of the mildest climates on the British mainland, it allows you to have that Mediterranean feel while sitting around one of the many cafes, restaurants and pubs.
Here you can indulge in one of the many water sports from sailing, diving, windsurfing and water skiing to a ride on the large Banana!!
The newly erected Balloon on the seafront takes you to a dazzling height with breathtaking views over the South West.
From Le Papillon it is only a 15 minutes’ walk into the town centre with its many fashionable shops and plenty of restaurants, with the famous harbour nearby known for its many pubs and clubs.

Accommodation Information

The 5 bed dorm has 2 bunk beds and a single bed, full length mirrors and big windows overlooking the garden.
The large 5 bed private/family room has 1 double 1 single and 1 bunk bed, wash basin, full length mirror and windows overlooking the garden
The 6 bed ideal family room has 1 double and 2 bunk beds, wash basin and storage space with a shower room just next door
The 4 bed private room, also ideal for a family, has 1 double and 1 bunk bed, wash basin and storage space and shower next door
Both 2 bed rooms are ideal overnighters with a bunk bed and wash basin and no windows though there is air ventilation.
