Liked: It was a bit far from the train station which took me more than 20 mins. but it's very close to the Hoe(not sure about the name) kitchen was very useful to cook myself, shower and toilet were spacious room was clean and tidy it was really value for money

Disliked: far from the train station, also not that close to centre

Liked: Standard

Disliked: Me and my four friends shared a private room with own key and someone entered the room with a key on the saturday in the day and stole valuable items from our room and went through our bags, camera and Ipod with charger were stolen, the hostels main keys must have been used.

Liked: Cheap and close to city centre and plymouth hoe

Disliked: Not the cleanest and some rooms were cramped for the amount of beds

Liked: It had a kitchen that was great, free tea &coffee, helpful guy running the day shift, check out 11am! A lounge with tv & eating area. great facilities!

Disliked: No elevator but its only 2floors so not such a drama.

Liked: A decent location at a decent price.

Disliked: We were unlucky in that our stay coincided with a large group of very loud French guys, whom took it upon themselves to bang and shout until the early hours of the morning. There are signs up stating that no noise should be made after 11pm, however, so in this regard, it wasn't the Hostel's fault.

Liked: Nice hostel, friendly staff, fairly close to main attractions

Disliked: Not enough showers and bathrooms, no lockers in rooms, away from train station and shopping area

Liked: Convenient for the SWCP and near to the city centre Clean and tidy with plenty of common space

Liked: Location very central to town and seafront and bus station.

Liked: Good self catering area - with lots of cooking equipment - and good spaces to eat. Room was also clean and light - with tea and coffee.

Disliked: The rest of the hostel was a bit run down and grubby/musty. And there wasnt any hot water in the shower!

Liked: Really good location (2 mins walk from the seafront) and felt safe

Disliked: It wasn't very clean and there weren't very many young people there - for some reason there were a lot of old men staying there that week!

Liked: Free internet, excellent staff, nice quiet location, good price.

Disliked: The bunk beds have no side rails and are rather narrow, so if you're on the top - you might be on the floor when/if you wake up. While it has excellent self catering, it doesn't offer anything breakfast wise. That the office is basically closed from 8am-3pm or so is somewhat unhelpful.

Disliked: The walls were really thin so it was hard to sleep as you can hear everything.

Liked: Very helpful and friendly staff, nice beds, and chatty people! Definately visiting again!

Disliked: apart from the shower taking quite awhile to get decent, nothing at all

Liked: The location is a little far from the city centre however the staff are nice and the sharing dormitory which I stayed were not busy so it was all right.

Disliked: The room was next to the bath room so when someone using bathroom, I had to hear big noise. Also when I used toilet, the noise was loud after a while.

Disliked: Old, not clean, noisy, cold, very small room, need to be refurbished.

Liked: Free Wifi; court yard for bike storage - not much else.

Disliked: Dorm I stayed in had creaking shaky wooden bunk beds that looked about 40 years old - in addition the beds were too close together so the room stank due to overcrowding. The wooden floorboards also creaked. The whole place needs a complete refurbishment. It doesn't feel like a backpacker hostel, it feels like you're staying in someone's tatty house. No effort and no money had been spent by the owners on bringing it up to standard of other hostels. How much does it cost for a few new Ikea beds? I've stayed in many hostels all around the world and I can say without a doubt this is the worst or 2nd worst I've stayed in.
