YMCA Penzance offers the following room types:
2 beds (can be single beds or bunk beds)
4 beds (2 x 2 tier bunks)
6 beds (2 x 3 tier bunks)
All accommodation prices include a light breakfast.
Fresh bed linen, duvets and pillows are provided free of charge. We have a limited number of towels available to hire. Hot showers, toilets and wash basins are provided separately for men and women. When booking dorm rooms, please state gender of all guests staying as rooms, although shared, are split by male and female. Thank you.
We are perfectly placed for you to enjoy Penzance town, and within easy reach of all the delights of West Cornwall – by bus, bike or car. Buses run from outside our door to the quaint fishing villages of Mousehole and Newlyn, or walk 3 minutes to the open-top bus service: discover the unique Minack Theatre, carved out of the cliffs; breathtaking Land’s End and Cape Cornwall; artistic St Ives and legendary St Michael’s Mount. Hop on and off for spectacular views of ancient standing stones, stunning golden-sand beaches, UNESCO World Heritage mining sites, and the breathtaking Atlantic coastline.
Stroll along Penzance Promenade, take in the famous Penlee House Art Gallery, or relax in lush, sub-tropical gardens - none more than 10 minutes' walk away. More active? Learn to surf or dive, swim in the art deco Jubilee Pool, walk the coastal path or take a marine wildlife boat trip.
