Customer reviewFriendly people, very "homey" atmosphere! The only problem we had was the noise at night, which couldn't be tuned out by earplugs. (Base!!) But the staff was very helpful and we could change rooms after asking for it. Luckily!! |

Margaret DiverCentral location and friendliness/helpfulness of staff. BUT - and it's a big but - when I stay some place overnight I am mainly looking for a place to sleep. And sleep is not posible because of the nightclub below the hostel. Could not therefore recommend it to anybody just wanting a place to crash. If you're looking for a place to stay up all night and party - you'd be OK. |

Customer reviewKeen on meeting new people? Up to the occasional drinking game? Fan of BBQ's? Nót a big fan of walking miles before reaching the city's best highlights and bars? Value clean showers and bedrooms? Make sure you make your booking at Central Backpackers! I've never been to any hostel where the staff was as welcoming as here. They made me feel at home straight away by complimenting me on my boots. Thanks guys! Marise |

Kathryn TognonVery nice place, very clean, and heaps of nice people. Basic breakfast, but still good. Can be a bit loud with the nightclub across the road, but if you put your ipod on you should be fine. |

Customer reviewIt is located close to the centre of Oxford, which is a good thing but unfortunately above a nughtclub - which when the temperatures are about 25°C, and there are 8 people in the dorm - means the windows need to be left open - which unfortunately means that no one but the hardiest can get any sleep. |

Megan AstonAll the staff were really friendly - it was a nice place to hang out and chill after a long day of sight-seeing! Unfortunately it got quite loud because of all the nightclubs, so take the advice of the hostel staff and take the complimentary ear plugs! |
