Liked: Clean, well received and friendly, crisis well handled (two girls apparently having brought in a stark naked guy, who were asked to leave immediately), good facilities.

Liked: People running this hostel know what a traveller needs and they're providing that. They are doing an excellent job. The staff is young and friendly. Everything was very clean.

Disliked: The only fly in the ointment is that the hostel is located in a street with many clubs that play loud music. It wasn't that quiet there at night.

Liked: Really nice staff, who invited us to a barbeque in the middle of a snow storm and did let us stay an afternoon while waiting for a late night bus, really nice

Liked: Staff was great, the location is like on the halfway between train station and city centre. Common room, kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms are really nice. Location was also great.

Disliked: Noise in the night time. Its not really bothering and they provide you with free earplugs but sometimes you can still feel the beat, cuz hostel is litterary completely surrounded by night clubs. And another thing is, that on the doors they have a lock, for which you need a code. I typed the code and the doors wouldnt open. After a bit of panicking and repeating typing the code and eventually the doors opened, so it was all good at the end.

Liked: nice large rooms, very clean hostel, good living areas, free breakfast, and very close to all your needs especially bus and train

Disliked: a little hard to find, could be a little difficult to sleep if you were a light sleeper but with the very good ear plugs provided anyone should be fine

Liked: Location near railway station.

Disliked: The bathrooms and washroom areas could have been cleaner. The fittings are also a bit worn and need renewing.

Liked: Great staff. Free wifi in rooms and on computers. Clean. Secure. Comfortable. Excellent facilities (good showers, decent rooms, tv, kitchen, computers etc). Fantastic location.

Disliked: Nothing springs to mind. Its a little rough round the edges but no more than you would expect from budget accomodation. In every improtant way this is a really nice little hostel.

Disliked: It was no problem for me with only a backpack but if you have loads of luggage, you may be in trouble because there is no lift. And loads and loads of stairs to climb... ;)

Liked: Service of the staff was amazing, we dealt with 3 separate people and they were all extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Everyone was really friendly and made it feel very homely.

Disliked: Unfortunately, it's near multiple nightclubs and is very loud at night.

Liked: I was really impressed with this hostel. My friend and I stayed in a 8 bed mixed dorm, we were really lucky with the selection of people in our room which was definately a contributing factor to our enjoyable stay but in addition to this the room & bedding was clean & tidy, the kitchen was tidy & organised, and most of all the staff were really friendly, helpful and created a good atmosphere to be in.

Disliked: The location of the hostel is very close to a lot of night clubs, this means the music and clubbers were really rowdy until early in the morning. The noise didn't bother me too much as I can sleep through pretty easy but it would definately make it difficult for some. This also means the foot paths getting to or from the hostel can be a bit gross from drunk people :- /

Liked: Relaxed atmosphere. Enjoyed the fact that this hostel has a nice outside seating area. Should be great during the summer. Very fast internet compared to other hostels I stayed in. And completely free. Perfect. The staff is friendly although I did not intact with them till great extend. I was positively surprised that, in contrast to the negative reviews, I did not experience the noise from the clubs on a Friday and Saturday evening.

Disliked: The smell in the room in the morning was unbearable. I could not breathe normally. I would recommend the hostel to check for better air regulation systems. Clothing from previous travellers that were stapled in the room caused this smell.

Liked: - Cable tv - Lots of other travellers to meet - Good location - Good internet

Disliked: Next to many clubs, so loud music and bass (doof doof doof) heard until 3am at night. Free earplugs given away to overcome this.

Liked: Really central which was great and good atmosphere. Breakfast was good and there was good common areas which were used by a lot of people.

Disliked: Lots of people who seemed to be staying for longer periods of time and so were not interesting in sightseeing. Facilities were old and it seemed needed updating.

Liked: Nice atmosphere, nice terrace, and very friendly staff.

Disliked: Everything is a bit dirty and there are by far not enough showers and toilets for everyone. Breakfast is ok, simply toast and orange juice, but you can do better.

Liked: Very clean, great communal areas for meeting people, good wifi in the rooms, easy walking distance to everywhere, helpful friendly staff, really good included breakfast, good self-catering facilities, good sized bathrooms.

Disliked: Perhaps not quite enough showers for the number of people staying there. But having said that, I only waited about five minutes before I could get one. And the wait is worth it forvthe quality of the bathrooms.
