Liked: Central location, as advertised

Disliked: As advertised....Very noisy nightlife on street, needed windows open to cool and had drunks screaming out in street until 3 am. Not much sleep and very active roomates until about that time as well.

Liked: The staff here is very friendly and helpful. There are some computer connected to internet for free ^_^. The room is clean and tidy.

Disliked: It's quite noisy at night even with ear plugs. Therefore, if you are a light sleeper, this hostel is not a good choice

Liked: Friendly atmosphere, helpful staff. Rooms are a bit cramped and noisy at night. A little run down overall, but well run and a decent hostel experience.

Disliked: The smoking deck is right beside the bedroom windows, with the windows open in the good weather, ciggy smoke is everywhere.

Liked: Nice, social hostels backpackers with comfortable beds and a decent kitchen.

Disliked: Lots of rain. Hostel should invest in a huge glass dome over Oxford to stop people getting wet.

Liked: Everything is all right. I have special feeling with this hostel. It's really nice, and everyone is so friendly.

Disliked: Just noisy to me because there are several pubs nearby.

Liked: Quite nice for an English hostel. Good location, good for young people as it is situated above two nightclubs. The breakfast was good.

Disliked: Work going on so we couldn't use the terrace. Aside from that, nothing bad to say- it was fine, if not fantastic.

Liked: Nice location, just 5mins walk from the train station. Near to city centre too.

Disliked: Pub opposite is noisy, the main road along the hostel has many bus passby.

Liked: The atmosphere is totally international and, at the same time, all people are very respectfull with the rest of the guests. The staff is very nice and the prize per night is not so much expensive

Disliked: Maybe the worst thing is that behind this hostel there is a pub and Monday's night is difficult for relaxing and sleeping

Liked: Well located, nice staff, and pretty calm against all expectations !

Disliked: They say they have lockers in the rooms but they are no use because there is no padlock.. Bring your own when you come !!

Liked: It's clean!

Disliked: The location is good,but it's so noisy at night! I couldn't sleep well because the pub next to the hostel is too noisy!! It's really horrible!

Liked: Everything you could want in a hostel. The staff were super-helpful and the facilities were great. I was only there one night and it felt a shame not to be there longer and be able to take better advantage of everything on offer.

Liked: Excellent, I will be back for sure! The dorms were comfortable and roomy ( I stayed in the female only), toilets and showers always impeccable. The hostel has everything you need: free internet, big kitchen, free breakfast, free wifi, two computers with free access (no charge, no queue!), TV room with lots of films, nice common area on the roof. The staff is among the best I've ever met, Mick is always trying to help you, and the other guys are supernice too. They even give you free padlocks for the lockers, and you can arrive anytime you want (they have free luggage storage if you come earlier than 3PM, which is the time for check-in). Last but non least, perfect location between the railway station and the coach station (two min walk from both) and the main tourist attractions are all within reach (max 15 min on foot). Together with the hostel I suggest trying a pub nearby which is called "Far from the madding crowd": great choice of ales (very cheap!), lagers and ciders, decent food (very cheap too) and free wifi in a nice atmosphere - just 2 min from the hostel.

Disliked: Absolutely nothing!

Liked: I totally recommend this hostel. It has a lovely easy going atmosphere, with very helpful staff. It is a fun place to meet new people. But most importantly I experienced it has quiet at night, so I actually got a full nights sleep. This is my second visit to this hostel. I will be back : )

Liked: lots of showers and toilets available, LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION (though probably not very suitable for people who want to sleep before three in the morning)

Disliked: Breakfast wasnt as good as expected or hoped for
