Customer reviewI don't like getting up early so I usually miss breakfast, but Janet delivered my brekkie to my room. It was fantastic also the bed was very comfortable, I had a great sleep. |

Lisa MuszynskiAthena Guest House is located just south of Oxford University and there is a great pub, The City Arms, literally right across the street, which is full each night and there's always something going on. There are other restaurants along the street and the neighborhood is very lively. Buses run very nearby to the center of Oxford for those who prefer not to walk the 30 minutes it takes to get to the center. I want to stress that the guesthouse is extremely clean and probably newly remodelled in the last couple of years or so. The staff is a family that cares a lot about its guests and Janet even loaned me her own map for a few days, so I could get around easily from the first night onwards. I really enjoyed my stay in Athena Guest House and recommend it to others. |
