Liked: I enjoyed being able in walking distance of all the attractions, stores (shopping) and bars.

Disliked: I wasn't impressed with having to pay such a high price to use the internet/ computers. Also for some reason my roomed smelled badly.

Liked: Good location, right behind the train station. Tidy and clean. The breakfast buffet is good, though not free, still worth of money. Luggage can be put in the locked cage in the luggage room which I feel secured

Disliked: one of the staff, a guy, is not friendly, like he didn't want to talk a word more and never look at people when talking, but other staff are find. Wifi is not free, quite expensive at all, which I think is the same for all YHA hostel

Liked: The room is clean and comfortable. The breakfast here is worth the value of money and it tastes not bad. I like the location very much as it is just near the railway station. Overall, it is a good hostel and I will recommend it to all my friends and family.

Disliked: The staff is not friendly enough as she didn't want to answer our questions well. We asked her which places we should go and is there any night tour in the city, she just answered us she don't know anything about it. We feel abit lost as this was the first time we came to oxford and don't know where should we go.

Liked: Confortable instalations, in the bedroom and in the lobby.

Disliked: Drunk people checking in and being directed to the dorm where I was staying.

Liked: Comfortable bed, helpful staff, friendly atmosphere

Disliked: The wifi fee is unreasonably high. But even if you dont mind paying for it, you cannot use it in your room, but in the lobby only. But even if you dont mind bothering going downstairs to the lobby every time you want to access the internet, you would probably not be able to find a seat becasue there would be a bit busy. The wifi problem just stop me to pay the yha membership because i can hardly choose to stay in other yha again if the problem's never been solved.

Liked: Location: it's just behind the train station, and without walking distance to the City centre.

Disliked: We were put onto 2nd floor and no lift is available. That's really a nightmare for people who travel with heavy luggage. Also ladies at the reception is not friendly at all. Last, the hostel don't provide any amenities, toiletries or wifi access. We have to pay every single item, which charge very costly. GBP 1 for 40 mins wifi access, GBP for borrowing towel, soap and shampoo etc... So the total cost is just as much as if we were going to book hotel opposite!

Liked: it's clean and located in 5 minutes from the bus-stop. the lobby is enough comfotable.

Liked: Very clean and spacious. Closer to a hotel than a hostel. New building, well-kept, Quiet, clean, uneventful.

Disliked: Not the usual ragged backpacking/traveling feel, was a little more sterile - but this can be good in some situations.

Liked: Good facilities, nice bedrooms with a small no of people in each.

Disliked: While it was clean, my room smelt a bit weird. Mould perhaps.

Liked: The area around the intrance with the sofa, computers and the TV is really great! The Lounge is very cofortabel, too.

Disliked: Using the Internet is way too expansive, espacially compared to other hostels. The Bathoroom and the shower didn´t smell very well.

Disliked: There's no free wifi throughout the property. You have to pay to get access to the internet. Other than that, the place is good.

Liked: It was safe, pretty good location.

Disliked: had to pay for wifi, staff were pretty unhelpful and rude. If you're a younger traveller I'd go to the backpackers closer in town.

Liked: Self-catering kitchen is very clear and facilities are very good.

Disliked: During our staying this hostel, our beds have been occupied at first night and then canceled at second night. Although staff did with those problems and apologized the mistake, the problems have upset us quite a lot in this holiday,

Liked: Private room. Snacks and drinks served all day and it's okay to take tea to your room etc

Disliked: Breakfast wasn't included which was a shame but you can still get a full english for £5.
