Liked: Nice hostel, but very hard to sleep if you're a light sleeper. the hostel is right beside the train station with trains coming and going well into the night!

Liked: It was conveniently located near the rail station, accessible 24hrs. However, the corridors and room smelt awful. There were so many extras to pay for (locks for the 'lockers' (cupboards) in your room, towels, soap etc) that the price can get bumped up considerably and you end up paying what you would for a b&b which would probably be have nicer and cleaner environment. I would not stay in a hostel again unless I was really desperate.

Liked: It had a great social feel to it with people coming and going, the rooms were lovely and more like a hotel than a youth hostel. Definite value for money.

Liked: Friedliness of the reception staff was superb, as was the excellent standard of cleanliness. the kitchen staff, however were patronising and rude when I was late for breakfast and wouldn't even spare a toast.

Liked: The packed lunch is a good idea, let me not have to worry about what I was doing for lunch for a day. The library is a nice place to have a short break and wind down after a tiring day. The rooms are clean, the bed was comfortable enough to sleep on, the only problem I'd say is a bit of noise from cars and trains earlier on in the night, but that's not a huge issue later.Also, I put good for "fun place to meet people and party" despite the fact that I didn't really do either. I did see people talking in large groups in the lobby though, so I assumed they were meeting new people and chatting.
