Liked: This hostel was good value for money in terms of its price, location, the fact that it provided breakfast and free internet service. But the place definitely needs a face lift, the wornout carpet needs to be replaced or removed completely, the paint needs to be a bit more refined and they definitely need one larger fridge or two more refridgerators because you could barely close the fridge with the amount of food that's in there. But it's a good place to meet people, they had a lot of young vacationers staying there during my visit. I was told that another hostel that is close by the train station is better for a family or if you're looking for a much quieter visit in Oxford.

Liked: Be aware that check-in closes at 2300 and they are not happy at checking you in after that time. We arrived late and was greeted by a rather hostile reception.The bathrooms are actually quite nice.

Liked: Social area had a really easy-going atmosphere to it, particularly good to have the sofa/bench area, and of course the bar! Staff always up to have fun, movie nights were a sweet idea.Location fabulous.Kitchen really clean, as well as the bathrooms.... just had a really fantastic time, sad to leave!
