Disliked: Breakfast was a bit weak and the locker storage could have been better. Also was unfair to pay extra money for luggage storage. Bathrooms were dirty.

Liked: Is a cheap price for get an accomodation, and you have include the breakfast as well in this price. And the property is ok, with a big common area, where you can meet other people. The problem is that I've not been so much time, and in that dates there weren't a lot of people there.

Disliked: REally the mattress was so bad. Is the only thing that I disliked.

Liked: Oxford backpackers is ideally located with all amenities close by. It is without doubt a friendly and a very clean hostle. A contentineal breakfast is included in the price which certainly fulls a hole, as they say.

Disliked: The room I stayed in was cold and it didn't have any electrical sockets.

Liked: I arrived quite late after 11:30, the staff did not seem to have been aware of this fact although I had stated this, but overall they were welcoming and helpful indeed, even in the middle of the night.

Disliked: Mara left no negative feedback.

Liked: The staff were great. Steve the manager was a champ and helped us out whenever we needed it. Johnny was also awesome and made our stay at Oxford Backpackers a lot of fun. We would definately go back if we had more time in Europe. The best part about the hostel was the lounge room which was really chilled and the bar as well, really well priced! Thanks so much from the 4 aussie guys!

Liked: It seemed like an ok place for the MUCH younger end of the spectrum (16-20) of hostel users, not the young adult (21-25) end of it. Fun atmosphere if you're that age I guess.

Disliked: VERY basic. Web advertised semi-private rooms (as opposed to dormitory style) but you still had at least 8 people sharing about 100 square feet. Slightly run down made it full a bit unclean (which may be untrue in reality). Paint chipping, toilets leaking, carpet unraveling, etc.

Liked: free drinks (tea, coffee, juices) and breakfast

Disliked: The Internet access is worse than in other hostels I have been recently to. First, there are not enough power outlets to connect laptops to. Second, there is no free WiFi (only a paid one), so if you want to surf for free, you have to connect your laptop to a router which is positioned in quite an uncomfortable place (and seems to have not enough cables). It has free drinks (tea, coffee, juices, boiling water for cooking), but no free salt, which I found a bit annoying.

Liked: Great place to meet people -- everyone was friendly and took advantage of the common room. Location is convenient, but Oxford is prety small so most places would be.

Disliked: Very laidback...bordering too much so. Pillows were thin but beds were comfortable overall. This place is a little dingy and could stand for a makeover.

Liked: Atmosphere was great. People and stuff were nice.

Disliked: Compare to quality the price was high. The smell was astonshing. "Very strong smell of stinky boots " No fresh air - stinky conditions. Beds were not so comfortable for tall people. Showers are look like slum.

Liked: The common room is quite friendly and there are lots of places and chairs to sit down. Although they should be repaired.

Disliked: The shower doors could be kept cleaner and the ceiling in the girls bathroom needs to be cleaned. The sofas should be repaired.
