Liked: Really loved the funky vibe and the proximity to downtown Oxford.

Liked: Very friendly staff and a nice common room with couches, tv and tables so you can chat with other people. Kitchen was fine, breakfast was very nice (brown and white bread with different toppings, also cereals with milk). Toilets and showers are in the hallway so it stays quieter in the room.

Disliked: It didn't seem very clean. The toilets don't always flush. The room was full of beds but luckily only 4 girls stayed there (and later 2).

Liked: Good facilities, lounge, library etc. 24 hour bar/reception area. Full breakfast good value for money. Very comfortable beds and warm duvets. Food and drink reasonable prices.

Disliked: Shower room in dormitories small although there are also baths, toilets and showers on each floor which I used instead.

Liked: Fun atmosphere. Loved all the paintings on the walls. Pool table, big-screen TV. Great breakfast. Office staff very friendly.

Disliked: Music was too loud in the common room. It was impossible to find a quiet place to read or study. Staff or long-term residents (I never determined which) were up in the common room at 3 a.m. one morning, very drunk, and very loud - shouts carried down the hall to the bedrooms. Two sinks is nowhere near enough facilities for the number of people staying in the hostel. I was always in a queue for a sink.

Liked: Very friendly staff, who organise different activities for the nights with great discounts Very well located, next to a huge park and just 5min wallking from the city center

Disliked: i would like to have a bigger swimming pool...

Liked: there is a great atmosphere at this place! the staff is lively and ready to mingle. they are also super helpful and want you to make the most of your stay in oxford.

Disliked: it could have been a bit cleaner. i felt like everything i touched was sticky..

Disliked: increased the price a few weeks after we'd booked, the booking was already in place so original price should have been stood by

Disliked: There was meant to be a computer avaliable, but I never saw one and the wi-fi wasn't very good.

Liked: Very colorful!

Disliked: The beds were very very hard and the rooms needed a bit of ventilation for the number of people in them. Half the bathrooms in the girls bathroom were out of service and there was only 3 of them...

Liked: Location

Disliked: The upper bunk beds are at too low so I knocked my head there several times. It is quite dangerous.

Liked: The location, close to everything. Nice atmosphere, easy to meet people as there is a bar.

Disliked: The room was very smelly. It might be because it is winter and the room does not get enough fresh air, but it was not that pleasant. Toilet and shower facilities quite smelly too.

Liked: The staff was nice and helpful.

Disliked: At the moment, certain rooms are in a bad shape. I was in particular in a room which had a very strange smell. This being said, the staff is trying to renovate the whole thing, so this should be better. Breakfast a little poor. At least a coffee machine would be good. But for a backpackers that must be usual.
