Local Area and Interests We're situated in the well known area of Boars Hill, located approximately 4 miles from both Oxford and Abingdon city centers. If you enjoy walking in woods or open fields then you'll love our positioning. With plenty of woods to explore and miles of footpaths and bridle paths, there's always something different around every corner. A link for the local map is located at the bottom of this page. Oxford is renowned for its University of Dreaming Spires. From the old golf course of Boars hill, only a 5 minute walk from us, there's a perfect view of it all.
Abingdon is one of England's oldest towns and it also home to the MG Car Club HQ and famous for being the place where the MG was originally designed and made. Right on the river with plenty of old bars to sample some local ales and beers. The Cotswolds are also just a short drive away and if you're after history and typical English charm then you'll be pleasantly surprised. Many Michelin stared restaurants will be found, along with historical places of interest such as Blenheim Palace and Bourton on the Water.
