It's really hard to rate since they messed up the bookings. Three nights in different rooms with two of them shared with others, I booked and paid for a single room. I did get money back but not as much as promised. Oh well, I'd still recommend it.

closeness to centre of town. Friendliness of staff. comfortable mattress, clean beds and linen, use of kitchen, and provision of basic breakfast.. If all you want is a cheap (for UK) hostel, then this one could be seen as OK. It is very basic.

It's a few rooms above the Earl Howe pub, brilliant! The staff were both incredibly accommodating and helpful, even though I think I was the only person staying at the hostel and they probably had better things to do. Nice way to settle into Notts even if it's a slightly rough area of the city.

Close to town. Ideal for night in Nottingham.

Friendly staff and a good atmosphere - probably helped by the homely feel to the upstairs and being above a pub! The location is good too, 3 mins from the Arena and thus the bustling Lace Market.
