Nottingham Backpackers Hostel, the Igloo, is proud to be the city's original and most popular quality budget stopover for backpackers, tourists, weekenders and overseas job-seekers seeking rest and recuperation in a warm, clean, safe and friendly home-from-home. Great weekly rates available.

Set up in 1994, the city centre’s hostel is still run by helpful and experienced backpackers and over the years we have welcomed close to 50,000 people from all over the world.

We are very proud to have just been awarded 3 STARS by 'Enjoy England Tourism Board' 2009

Located in an historic Victorian building, we are surrounded by shops, pubs, eat-ins and take-outs, sights and sounds plus a launderette and food shopping including a 24 hour supermarket.

Our facilities include a large fully-equipped kitchen with free tea and coffee, a social lounge with free Internet, T.V. and films, comfy beds with duvets, lockers in all rooms, laundry facilities, Wi-Fi in all areas and washrooms with 24 hr hot showers.
We also have a large social room with pool table, table tennis, sofas, music and games.
There is on-street parking for those of you traveling by car - free from 18.00 - 08.00.

If you are looking for a place to spend the Summer and get some money together, we offer a weekly rate* for all those who wish to stay long term and information and guidance on finding work of which there is plenty up for grabs in Nottingham. If you are just on the tourism trail for a night or 2, we will provide you with a free map, information and leaflets on sights so you know your way around.

The city also offers lots of great live music, cultural events and of course Mr. Robin Hood!

Open all day all year until 3 a.m., the Igloo offers no chores or heavy rules - just a chance to meet some friendly people and get a good night's sleep at the end of an active day. If you are ever in town, pay us a visit!

Check-in is from 9.00 am - 01.00 am - you can use all facilities from 9 a.m. - room are ready no later than 14.00.
Open all day until 3 a.m.

Weekly rate *£58.00 per week after 7 nights stay.
