Liked: Helpful staff and lots of character to this atmospheric hotel.

Disliked: Poor breakfast did not try any other meals

Liked: Fantastic Value for money. First time we have come across half board included in price.

Disliked: Should state that evening meals were (apart from 1) all Indian food. We had a 5 year old with us so both nights she had soup. If we were staying longer I would like to have seen other basic meals on menu. Rooms were a bit run down but suited the purpose and the cost.

Liked: Not centrally located but the bus stop is literally right outside the front door. (When you see the LIDL press the bell). This is the first time I have come across half board in my 9 months of travel. Toast, cereal and coffee for breakfast and 2 course Indian meal at night. The kitchen was built to run a restaraunt so it is very well equipped.

Disliked: This place is essentially a hotel so during our stay it was hit and miss with meeting other travellers. They have a nice big common area with a big screen TV to encourage interaction between guests. We felt safe during our stay but it would not be the area I would walk alone in at night. Beds could be more comfortable but you do get what you pay for.

Disliked: Found a huge bee in the room, but other than that pretty quaint. Also name has changed to Bluebird Hotel.

Liked: Paid for a Single Room but was given a Double En Suite so was very happy with the upgrade.

Disliked: Was noisy

Liked: The room was nice and cheap. The breakfast was awesome. Easy to reach by bus from city centre.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: no curfew, breakfast provided ( toast, cereal and coffee)

Disliked: check-in time starts at 1400, we arrived at 1405 and our room was not ready until 1445. the taps in the WHB in room leaked over the floor, there was no hot water or soap in the dispenser in one of the communal toilets.

Liked: The single room was clean and nice.

Disliked: The reception... trouble with payment. Attention: Ask for a receipt immediately!!!

Liked: Rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was good - cereal and toast. Free tea and coffee.

Disliked: Location was a little far from town. Other travellers may wish to know that the name of the hostel has changed, and is now called Bluebird Hotel. Fortunately, I realised that before I left, but it may have been confusing otherwise.

Liked: cheap and easy to get to the city centre.

Disliked: Take ear plugs! A notice needs to go up in reception area - do not disturb other guests if arriving in early hours of morning. Had very little sleep due to doors banging and lack of consideration from some other residents.

Liked: I thought the property was nice and cosy!!

Disliked: The only thing i was confused was the name, at the front of the place it says blue bird and then at the front of the door it says roselodge.

Liked: Wifi in room, washbasin in room, nice outside, on a bus route to the city

Disliked: poor TV signal, doors do not close properly without having to pull/push very hard and make a lot of noise, hard to locate by taxi, poor bathroom facilities

Disliked: Some areas of the building are in a pretty poor state although it is clearly a work in progress and some ares are very nice

Disliked: Lock didn't work from the inside of the room. Came back to find my window wide open. Fire alarm went off repeatedly and person at reception did not seem to care. Despite being told that there was a 24 hour reception there was in fact a doorbell to be used only in an emergency between the hours of 21:00 and 09;00

Liked: The staff were friendly and helpful. The couches in the common area were quality. The rooms and beds were comfortable and we had a TV in our private room which was a nice surprise. It was easy to get the bus into the city centre. It came every 7.5 minutes and only took 10 minutes to get in.

Disliked: EOIN left no negative feedback.

Liked: super cheap place especially for a private room and a tele. a bit out of the city but easy access by the buses. would recommend for someone looking for a chill stay for a very economic price.
